    am i doing barbell rows right? first time trying to do them heavy and progress

    first time doing barbell rows heavy. about 4 months ago ish i was doing 110-120s for reps with dumbell rows. but i am just starting to get back into training upper body. i lost so much size lmao




    what do you think?

    some ppl r gonna be critical and say u should be bent over more.

    if this works for you wll than continue to do like ur doing without using momentum...experiment with different angles and find what works for u

    I like taking the seat off a preacher bench and putting my forehead on the pads... controls it a lot better and you feel it a lot better. lot less weight needed but hey

    i prefer doing them more bent over and fairly light, but i think there´s a wide range of how you could do them.

    unless you go full kali muscle and use 7 plates to make it some kind of legdrive shrug and call it rows.

    saw all those ed coan and other peoples videos on that channel. such greats videos for free learned alot, form looks okay just keep form > weight. going too heavy and getting vertical while using momentum made my back weakest of all.

    Rileh, it looks to me like your shoulders aren't tucked in. when your shoulders and lats aren't pulled back, it becomes more of a bicep movement. I'm not really sure if you have them tucked in or not tho.. and yeah I would try to be bent over a little more. other than that it looks pretty decent.
