-Girl talks about how much she loves volunteering at local pet shelter
-I tell her I love animals too, trying to score points
-She says I should come volunteer with her, I say sure
-I take her on a date, next day go in and volunteer with her
-There is a cute black and white cat she says she wishes she could adopt
-Makes me feel guilty, I decide to adopt it
-After I've already started adopting this one, she says "Wait! You have to take her brother too! You can't split them up!"
-She's right, so I adopt TWO cats, bringing my new total to 12.
-Figure I've scored big points with girl
-That was a week ago. She hasn't returned my texts or been around the animal shelter since.
At least I have Bart and Lisa (the new cats) to keep me company now.
