Oh I didn't realize you took a quick cell phone snap of my lunch while I was at work that serious as if I was in some competition.
My head is legit ridiculous. 23.4inches where the rim of a hat would rest. Which is funny because statistically it's not big yet I can't fit in 90% of hats that other people can.

Went running for the first time since about August of 2014, last monday, in 7 days was able to run a 5k non stop in 24 mins, which is slow compared to what i could do. For some reason my spinal erector no longer hurts since i started, it has hurt chronically for about 2.5 years now. Yesterday i felt like i was going to get a blister on my foot, sure enough, i got about 1 mile in today and it started burning, because i progressed so quickly the skin never toughened up. I drained the delicious interstitial fluid.
Been eating like 1400 calories a day this entire week going FULL MACHINIST MODE to cut extremely fast.
There is always someone less fortunate, with real hunger, with real adversity, who made something of themselves. What is your excuse?

Yay, test levels are at 244 ng/dL. Hooray for me.

Co-incidentally, the same happened to me last night, brother. But managed to stay 100 cals below daily maintenance cals yest.
Ish happens. No biggie! I have realized that its time to seriously consider IIFYM while keeping fiber intake up, on a cut.

Yeah I was 340 ng/dL early last year. The endocrinologist declared it "normal"* and said everything was fine! Well that was quite a comfort. I just told my symptoms that everything was normal and it made it all better. *rollseyes* Anyway, I was fortunately able to convince her that we needed to try something (as an aside, I find it crazy that I had to convince my doctor to treat my symptoms) and she prescribed Androgel. She didn't think insurance would approve it, but they did. Ran it for 4 months and definitely felt better. But then it came time to renew and insurance indicated they were not going to approve it, so my endo wouldn't even try. She prescribed Clomid instead, as TRT. I ran that for about a month and didn't like how I was feeling, so I discontinued. It's now been another month and here I am with that current test result. It may still be suppressed from the Androgel, but originally the endo thought it would rebound quickly on its own because it was such a brief run -- and the Clomid should have helped it rebound even faster.
She wants me to try the Clomid again. I'm not interested in trying the Clomid again. So I've reached out to a low T center in the area. We'll see what happens. I'm not looking for supra-physiological doses - I just want to get back to feeling normal.
*I think the notion of what's a "normal" test level is going to be completely re-worked in the coming years. The range is just crazy.Started in April, 2013 at 212 lbs. Completely inactive at the time. Fat with zero muscle mass.

when i had my first test come back at 280ng/dL they wanted to put my on TRT right away. i declined and said i wanted to drop weight, fix eating habits, and hopefully bring it up naturally. 70lbs later, healthy diet, exercise, etc, and it went up to 331. that's as drastic of a change that can be expected from a total diet overhaul, so any doctor that tells you you can change a hormone naturally is full of it. just my 2c

I agree. And that was part of my pitch to my endo. I was like look, I'm already lifting regularly, I eat well, I've lost weight, I get plenty of sleep and I'm not stressed more than any other average adult. And with all those variables in my favor, I'm sitting at 340 ng/dl. Basically, I'm doing everything correctly and my reward is to have a test level so low that I'm suffering low T symptoms, but juuuuuust high enough that I'm technically normal and can't get approved for TRT. Or to at least try TRT and see if it helps. Her initial answer was "Well every guy feels better when they're on testosterone." Oh no, how awful.
Could be nothing or just pure coincidence, but when I lost all my weight and got in shape, I remember people constantly saying "Oh you must feel great! So much more energy." I really didn't. Felt exactly the same. Generally lethargic, low energy, etc. I didn't really start even considering low testosterone could be an issue until my PCP mentioned it during a physical. I started thinking about it and decided to get tested a couple months later.Started in April, 2013 at 212 lbs. Completely inactive at the time. Fat with zero muscle mass.

The "normal" test level range is utterly stupid as it doesn't factor in age or lifestyle at all.
340 ng/dL is normal for someone at the age of 85+ but it's half of the normal range for someone who's 25.
It's like saying it's normal for people to get Alzheimer, arthritis, osteoporosis etc. at the age of 20 , because people at 65+ get it too!
http://www.artofmanliness.com/2013/0...terone-levels/ has a pretty good article on the test levels thing.
But that being said, 340 ng/dL might be the new normal for 20 year old soon since test levels are rapidly declining each generation with laziness and obesity
In other news: my cut is getting delayed, been stuck with the flu since Thursday and it ain't getting better. Not going to start rapid cut without being able to lift/exercise and being sickMy story going from obese to fit while battling daily chronic headaches:
