Not holding it with pride, but yeah I am dirty bulking. I need to pack on a serious amount of fat since I want to beat Kure's 25lbs in 28 days weight loss my next cut.
I am guessing I am roughly up 20-22'ish lbs of fat and water, so I still need to pack on a serious amount of fat to avoid losing LBM during a rapid weight loss.
Gonna aim for 26lbs in 28 days, which means I need to gain at least 40'ish lbs of excess weight to have a 14lb buffer or so.

MissJ, your niece is so cute. I love herrrrr! And d'aw. She looks a little bit like you. ...Sweet family pic. It just occurred to me - I can't remember the last time I witnessed a scene like that in person, srs. What's the latest on their drumming? You could remix a recording of them playing!

You look solid. Holy sh.start where you are

d'oh. Krete, I just asked you how your week went over there. I didn't see that your reboot starts tomorrow!
Lord Ejnar, I will graciously accept that rating on behalf of the House of Caprica/10.
I finally caught up with Game of Thrones this evening. -.-
I ended up seeing some fire works from the parking lot of a nice strip mall, lol. I also saw some of the NYE coverage on tv, and at midnight some people in the neighborhood across the water had a huge fireworks display + party. That was really nice, getting to watch fireworks out back and seeing them reflected in the water. I've been at home all weekend but I really needed to hunker down and work on some things so I'm totally fine with how that worked out. I heard a Disney employee say that the main park filled to capacity at 9am on Dec 31!
How was your holiday?
He's the Viking that I posted in our last thread! I never got into the show but it's a pretty grand production. I wish I could give it another try but I don't think I have that channel here atm.
Lol'd
Happy New Year, all, plus Galindo and MrRita!start where you are

Its good to see everyone back in the thread. i trust you all had a good new years.
Why do I do this weightlifting thing for the last 34 years with all its ups and downs life has handed me? Because each time I came back stronger. NEVER GIVE UP. Gym life is about more than muscles getting bigger and weights going up. Its wisdom discipline dedication humility you name it.

Yeah it was ok, glad to be back in work TBH, suffering cabin fever at home with the weather being so bad, not been really able to enjoy my time off as i'd liked.
Smashed on about 7 lbs in weight, body fat is up about 1.5%, waist is up an inch, so looks like I've put on a little lean mass with a bit of water & fat, was to be expected !
Back in work & back into routine today, my mate has asked me to do a 10k run with him in June, I hate running but I'm going to do it & may try a ToughMudder event later in the year too.
So goals are to maintain current strength levels while dropping body weight & getting 10k fit
Oh & Happy New Year all !!!

Might be able to take some pics in a tank top, still look somewhat lean wearing those as my back/shoulders are still huge compared to fatty waist.
Lifts absolutely suck, lost quite a bit from my crazy volume GVT but it should come back pretty fast now that I am back on more strength focus.
Was a small celebration with friends and neighbors but it was a good one.My story going from obese to fit while battling daily chronic headaches:

How long can one safely run a PSMF? Looking to run a big deficit when i get back into the gym, i dont care about being hungry so its a non issue as far as satiety is concerned
There is always someone less fortunate, with real hunger, with real adversity, who made something of themselves. What is your excuse?

Thanks yall
If you're still pretty lean, not supposed to go past 2 weeks. Lyle doesn't recommend multiple cycles of it when lean because of potential health / hormonal / muscle loss issues. Instead, he recommends a refeed, followed with a maintenance period / transition into flexible dieting. And no more than 1-2x a week of lifting. Reduced sets, but same weight / reps if possible. Only LISS cardio. Plenty of electrolytes. Make sure to eat more protein than usual.
