This reminds me I need to make the Vanishing Oatmeal Cookies from the lid of the quaker oatmeal box. I bought the brown sugar as I have some raisins that did not work out for their intended home in oatmeal for breakfast. I'm just a banana or blueberry guy. Will post pics wit steam rising from cookies. Will have to hold them by the freezer though it's hot AF here now.The most important aspect of weight training; whether for the athlete, bodybuilder, or average person is to better ones health and ability without injury. - Bill Pearl

Recovery of peace during Ramadan.
Yesterday I did some workouts with 70lb atlas stones. After the workout, I get home and don't even have any energy to take out the trash.
DOMS craziness. Soreness galore. I expected my recovery after workouts to be slow, but daaaang this is crazy.
Oh and I realized I'm only eating about 1k cals. #musteatmorepbThus let me live, unseen, unknown;

Hey does that loose skin at the bottom bother you? I have the same issue. How do you deal with the mental torture of knowing you'll never have the Victoria Secret bod no matter how good you look?

Okay, I have another stupid question. I went from eating whatever I want, to fasting and keto. Is it normal that my weight is going up rather than down?
Mind you, I was eating 2000-2500 cals before. Now I'm eating 1000-1200 cals. Increase in body weight since last Tuesday = 2 lbs.Thus let me live, unseen, unknown;

For a man it wouldn't be, but for a woman with their crazy hormones and whatnot it is. Females are just stupidly prone to water retention, sudden change in diet and fasting doesn't help either.
Lyle normally recommends to take a bath, drink some wine,chill and get laid to drop cortisol etc. but that is probably not a valid option for you so you just have to wait until it drops/flushesMy story going from obese to fit while battling daily chronic headaches:

i noticed retention way more on keto than anything else. it's weird. you'd think less carbs means less retention. but i would purposefully drain every couple of months to ensure i wasn't stalling/overeating. usually done with 2 days of no sodium and red wine and i'd flush out a couple pounds.

I had some yesterday, spinach and mushroom with a 1/2 can black olives added for good measure before cooking. I don't seem to have much shift in water weight anymore if I go to a keto diet, but I've learned to be heavy handed with the salt shaker as well. Plus I did keto for so long I think my body just generally goes

I find myself watching a Steven Seagal direct to DVD movie for the second time this week.
Edit: I can't really say I am "watching it" though, it's on in the background while I am paying some bills.The most important aspect of weight training; whether for the athlete, bodybuilder, or average person is to better ones health and ability without injury. - Bill Pearl

Which one? He is just one of those actors where you have seen one of his movies, you have seen them all, yet it doesnt stop you from lazily watching 😛
The nation-state and society seek to control the body in a myriad of subtle ways, so if you are going to fight for the right to do with your body what you please, why not make it a battleground worth fighting for? ;)

Yardio bunny checking in.
Been training my beer muscles the last few weeks while I work in the yard so i don't fall down drunk after 3 beers on vacation.
Weight goes up.
Waist shrinks.
def. Science + magic^2.
but not a good thing.
the closer I get to 170 the more pronounced the sag lines inside my obliques become.
The fat around my belly button looks like phlegm on a wall.
oh well.
at least i look good in clothes.
After vaca hard cut continues for a few weeks to get down to 160's then a legit bulk for rest of summer is needed.

IDK, but dat chin fat.
My latest is some loose thigh skin in upper thigh. I can deal with the gut skin, it's been there long enough (unless I lean forward shirtless) I don't notice it much. The thigh stuff has to go, I need a bit more muscleThe most important aspect of weight training; whether for the athlete, bodybuilder, or average person is to better ones health and ability without injury. - Bill Pearl

Heh. Well we are magical fairies. It's true.
Meh. Isn't it sad that we must be punished SO SEVERELY for life's mistakes? I had a legit reason for being fat.. cupcakes and depression.
I should be given a break IMO. Srs.Thus let me live, unseen, unknown;
