Looks like my husband will be getting a new biventricular pacemaker in the next couple months. They are 70% hopeful that it will improve his symptoms and help slow the degeneration of his heart. That is good news for us! We'll take those odds. Went to dinner last night to celebrate and went over cals but was Greek food (hummus, kabobs, rice) so not too bad and not so far over.
Cardio today and work...1 house.
And my son is doing great at school and having fun. It's a good day.Kristen

^ Good to hear kristen!
Giving myself 3 more weeks to go balls out on the cutting, full focus on glycogen depletion workouts with 1 high intensity day on the refeed day (UD 2.0 approach), lets see when I break down.
3 days of extremely low kcals (1200-1400), 20-40 min cardio on the workout days, 60-100min on the rest days.
Just did the first round of depletion workout (doing two rounds per workout day) everything is on fire and I can feel the vomit in the back of my throat, seem to be doing it right!
At least according to Lyle:
Nausea, intense muscular burning and fatigue are going to be your new friends on these workouts.Last edited by Znik; 09-10-2015 at 04:35 AM.

Zniks I was reminded of some of your old posted pictures the other day when I read this:

Australian student Kristi Kafcaloudis, 24, apparently lost her balance while taking a photo at the cliff's edge, and plummeted more than 980 feet into a gorge, according to the Herald Sun.
Probably some local vikings encouraging her to pose for a sweet photo op.

The price of a good selfie. Have been expecting that to happen, was just a matter of time.
On the bright side she only fell 980 feet to the high gorge, if she had fallen on the far end it would be 2296 feet to the bottom, that's a long time to think about stuff before you hit the ground. My story going from obese to fit while battling daily chronic headaches:

Did Znik make it to Onederland?
And CSB is back (so close to Halloween). Hmm, I'm getting suspicious.
Update on me: I'm running 2 Crossfit competitions currently. Training hard. Back/right glute issue still persists. The team competition (running it now) is 4 WODs to be done by Monday. We've done 2 so far. Two more on Sunday in addition to my regular workouts.
My single competition is mid-October.

off topic but check this out. I was in a van that did 152 at the dash but I was only a foot away from the subs so it was louder and it was probably 6 db louder from my past experience in my brothers 152 db vehicle. But ill never do that again. And a 10 db increase is said to be equivalent to twice as loud. Anyway this is brutal. And the loudest vehicle in the world (sealed up one note) is 182.4 db. And the 182.4 db vehicle has one thousand pound doors haha. (craig butler)

Why do I do this weightlifting thing for the last 34 years with all its ups and downs life has handed me? Because each time I came back stronger. NEVER GIVE UP. Gym life is about more than muscles getting bigger and weights going up. Its wisdom discipline dedication humility you name it.

I'm sure you guys do not remember, but the pic on the left is one of the last pics I posted of my man. So proud of him because he has changed a ton since then. The right pic is one I took earlier today.
Kind of amazing how much he has changed...didn't even realize until placing these pics side by side! What's crazy is that he was heavier in the photo on the left. He's 209lbs (95kg) now, bulking on a ketogenic diet.

Eww female vascularity, just kidding. Looking good MLJ. And your man has done a good change!
In other news Glycogen depletion is working at a great pace, dropping 2-2.5lbs/day atm. 10lbs of the 12lbs refeed has been lost so far.
Just two more days until refeed again, power training tomorrow is going to be horrible I bet.My story going from obese to fit while battling daily chronic headaches:
