Going to ride at maintenance for a month or so and then start a bulk.I'm just a guy who knows the basics.

Some are around here, some have homes in other parts of the country, lots have gone home. There were only like 2200 structures lost. It was the damage to the infrastructure that dealt the widespread blow to the city. Oil production is coming back on line and the rebuild has already begun.

I probably wouldn't even put collision on a vehicle less than $10k, maybe more. The odds of me being in an at-fault collision are pretty low, so I'll take my chances with that one. The $10mil settlement for the kid I turn into a vegetable though - that's where the premium comes in heavy.

Trail running is legit. Especially if you live in a hilly or mountainous area. I also very much enjoy running stairs in a nice setting. We have many many thousands of stairs in the city, wooden staircases that go down a huge valley to the river. Most are south facing so can get a good tan and it strongly encourages the womenz to strip down.

Yep, the whole isle I live on is basically hilly or mountainous, with trails/paths everywhere.
Can even do a 24 mile (~40km) walk/run from one end to the other up and down mountains, without resorting to any pavement/roads.
Shin splints suck though, this body still ain't made for high speed. My story going from obese to fit while battling daily chronic headaches:

24 miles, one end to the other. That's like a trip to the grocery store for me...
And trail running isn't nexessarily about speed, it's about efficiency. That just normally translates to speed. Planning and adjusting your strides way in advance will be the biggest way for most people to increase speed over the long run.
I bought a mountain bike last fall to try and get back into an old passion. Haven't made it out to the Rocky Mountains yet because I always have my wife or dogs tagging along, but we have world-class single track right in the city. God I missed it.1175 @172

Wow, legit didn't expect to see Ammex posts. Glad to see you back. Funny thing is I was just thinking about you and how you were saying a looong time ago how you didn't know how people had time for video games...this is my life now lol .
..........
Been AWOL for a while, just lifting and working on some personal / business goals.
Still on keto...will be a year in a couple months, da fuk?! Feels like time flew by.
I fell off for a little while there, ate carbs for 2 weeks or so and gained some fat. I really just can't eat a higher carb diet, brings out the glutton in me. There is no moderation. And if I have to eat more "filling" carbs like wheat bread and brown rice, I rather just be keto lol! Serious. I don't want a life with sub 100g of fat and nasty ass brown rice, ijs.
That being said, I will be hitting up the frozen yogurt shop once a month
Some recent pics / comparison from where I started. Feels real good to not to look anything like that anymore.

I still don't know how people have time, but I recognize it just comes down to what you enjoy doing + how much you work. I work 50+ hours on a light week and it ramps up considerably from there, but on top of that being shift work just leaves very little time on my work days (12+ hour shifts plus basic life stuff), and then I have full days off so I always try to be productive. If I wanted to make time for games, I could...
... And lately I've been really wanting to. Miss having that bit of an escape, but my addictive personality would make me invest way too much in them and that would take away from other stuff.
Looking very solid though MLJ1175 @172

The reason my insurance rates rose so high was because I got into some trouble on the road last year. When I was released from the hospital last August my doctor put me on the anti-depressant Prozac which I reacted very poorly too.
Long story short I ended up completely losing my mind while on it and ended up jumping out of my second story window (barefoot) and driving my car 100 MPH down a local highway. I was chased by three state troopers and ended up getting 15 driving citations and 2,000 in fines. When the officer pulled me over, I was so delusional that I told him that I was George Washington of the 13 colonies."He who is not courageous enough to take risks will accomplish nothing in life." - Muhammad Ali
