I got Engaged MISC!
Heres how it went down:
I took drove 14 hrs from NC to IL, and took it easy that night when I arrived. The next day I took her out to a nice fancy restaurant (bout $40 a meal) and we got a couple glasses of wine. We had sirloin medallions with butter garlic sauce, mashed potatos, and a delicious spinache side. Amazing.. Anyhow, after we ate I told her she had something in her teeth. She didnt get the hint so after she asked me if she got it 30 times, I just said yes. Luckily she said, 'oh well let me make sure I got it', and went off to the restroom.
At this point I sprinted over to our waitress and said:
"Hey Uh, can you bring this out with the desert??"
Her: "Awww are yOU going to propose??????"
"Uh, yeah"
Her: "AWwwwWW"
and she brings my ring in the back to which I hear about 10 other servers/chefs talking about it.
Finally my woman comes back from the restroom and sits. They bring out the desert with the ring on the tray along with two glasses of champaigne! I take the ring, stand her up and propose. This was a wide open restaurant, and everyone can see anyone in there. Every single person in the restaurant gasped. Then..
SHE SAID YES!!!!
I stood up, kissed her, and everyone in the restaurant started clapping.
The manager came over after and congradulated us as well as told us our wine and champaigne for the evening were on the house.
The next day we had a going away party with her friends and family, and then I helped her move 18hrs on Sunday back to NC.

Living with her for 2 days has been interesting.. her mom decided to come down spur the moment.. and is still here.....................................Taking her mom to the airport tomorrow morning. Praise the lord.

I'm happy, and excited, she has just been emotional.
She has never been away from her family. And then to move 15hrs away has been tough on her. She is going to be ok though. I just can't stand her mother.
