Preparing protein powder with boiling water?
Awesome! I do have question about my protein powder. I just have a chocolate flavored protein powder that is made from pumpkin seeds I get from my local organic grocer. Can I prepare it like a hot chocolate substitute or will the boiling process destroy its nutritional benefits?
Thanks!

Hi.
I'm 37 Years old, 5.10, 260 punds and for the last year I've been doing crossfit around 2-3 times a week, I have tried as much as I can to eat better and healthier but I can see much improvment at all. my clothes are starting to feel looser but I havent changed sizes yet and I feel a bit discourage. I'm increasing my crossfit sessions to 4-5 times a week and trying to to keep a healthier diet. however I have never used suplements and for those of us who are not into bodybuilding or never had an informed person around is really hard to choose the right combination. Ideally I would like to know which are the supplements I can use to start seeing results faster. my main goal is loose fat. I do WOD's and MetWod's
Thank you

Is this a good start? what would be recommended dosage? also I am trying to prepare for an upcoming deployment at my next duty station, so what results can I expect in about an 8 week on period?
my main concern is dosage ive looked up how to inject, etc.

I am new to this whole game and so far, I've learned that the fitness business is a whole new world! So I can't wait to get into it.
My question is, how necessary are supplements and protein powders etc..? I eat a fair bit of protein just regularly so is it absolutely necessary to spend hundreds of dollars of protein?
Stupid question but I am new and I want to hear from the experienced."Life is about growing and improving and getting better."

Great question! Here are a few recommendations that I have, but as always it's best to check with your primary physician before starting a new supplement program.
I would recommend take creatine, as it's been shown to help improve insulin sensitivity via GLUT-4 up-regulation
Protein is a safe and effective supplement to take, as are BCAAs. Because these contain little (if any) carbs they should have no effect on insulin/glucose levels.

No supplements are necessary...they don't offer up anything food can't. It's more of a convenience thing. Many of us don't eat enough whole protein throughout the day, so supplementing with protein powder helps us reach our protein intake goal. The same goes for creatine, beta-alanine, and BCAAs. Supplements can also help when traveling or when you can't sit down and eat every 3-4 hours. Creatine and beta-alanine are a little more difficult to obtain solely through whole foods so I would recommend supplementing with those.

Can I ask here about CLA and L-Carnitine?
They are catalogued as fat burner, but they works in different way i suppose.
Can i take CLA and L-Carnitine at same time?
3 caps CLA and 3 caps of L-Carnitine daily is a good idea?
Or I should take them separately?
for example: 1 month only 3 caps of CLA daily and the next month only 3 caps of L-Carnitine daily.
I see on internet and there are 50% of people pro-separately and 50% of people pro-simultaneously.Last edited by KimeraII; 03-24-2016 at 04:43 PM.

Help! My husband has been taking N Motion Up Test. He has been generally feeling horrible and tired all the time. He has been swollen, goes to the bath room a lot and said he feels like he's dying inside. I'm so scared for his well being right now. I want to mention only for medical purposes that he had a major pill addiction in the past. About 7 years ago. He has since over came that addiction and has been clean for over 4 years. But, during that time he started to swell. His feet and every thing. His aunt that is a doctor told him that this was the beginning of the end if he didn't stop abusing pills. So, with that being said, can his liver be damaged from that? And, will this supplement make it worse? I'm so worried about him. Please help.

The best time to take Cuts would be on an empty stomach, I like to take it first thing in the morning or before I train. Let me know how it works!
