    If you are actually at 18% body fat I would recommend cutting below 15% percent, then bulking. Muscles are no good if you have fat covering it! Cut now and clean bulk later.

    Lulz, you really think 5 pounds of fat going to crush OP's gains? Or do you think op has qualified professionals helping to even tell the difference of 3% body fat?

    In addition muscles are just fine at moderate body fat.

    How long you been training OP?
    Never said the fat would kill his gains, just stating the fact that fat can cover up certain areas. And 5 pounds of fat is actually quite a bit for a person who doesnt have alot of weight to lose. And if the OP wants to see some abs coming in then he will have to lose some fat.And you dont need professionals to notice a loss in fat. lol A simple before and after will suffice. If i could see how he looks in a picture i could accurately see how much fat he actually has.
