Today's Post-WorkOut meal was a quick stir-fry of beef & broccoli accompanied by a glass of cold milk.
No brain, no gain.

With all the recent ice cream talk I figured this was fitting to link to.
Right now Enlightened brand is KILLING IT as far as I am concerned on the "healthy" ice cream options out there.

OH and my mistake! Its DiscoverSD magazine that I am on the cover of this month. Not PacificSD. Same ownership (Union Trib) but different publication.

My first time trying "Baba Ghanoush".. I have to say, I'm not a fan..
I AM a fan of Jasmine Rice though..
So, this was the latest pickup. I'll have to admit, I mainly purchased this pint because it was one of the only ones on sale and there were no Ben and Jerry's pints on sale at the local grocery store I go to. I was in between this flavor and the snickerdoodle flavor. I decided to try this one because of the mix-ins, in comparison to the snickerdoodle which had none.
First Impression was a HUGE burst of caramel flavor. It reminded me of something similar to "gold medal ribbon" that was my FAVORITE flavor at Baskin Robbins during my childhood (not sure if they still stock it or not). I got a gigantic fudge "flake" when I took my first spoonful which was awesome.
Mix-ins were ON POINT. I did feel like the "fudge chunks" could've been a little bigger. But if that's the only thing I have to complain about with this pint.. I'm happy.
Overall Rating: 9/10

Picture taken last week. Its odd though as although the story still holds and is a unique piece its retrospective by 2 years as I have not done a food challenge since April 2014 when my bet for the whole ordeal ended. (read the article to get where that comes from). And here I am now even during that shoot, 14 weeks from 2 men's physique contest......go figure!
