I thought Season 1 was interesting, but just kind of okay. Like it was trying too hard or something. Season 2 started off well and really seems to be effortlessly hitting a groove. The writing is great, and the acting has been on point.

True Detective can suck it. This is the stylistic, ensemble-cast crime drama that knows what's up.
