haha taab a bigtime sales boy, he wishes. Lots of money out there even for fresh agents, I've been steering newbs in that direction lately, even if they're hellbent on securities like me. If they try to think of themselves as 'advisors' they'll be out of business and applying for analysts jobs or walmart.

If you build 30 million AUM (assets under management) and charge 1% annually then essentially you make 300k a year without any sales except replacing the dead ones. But most managers are scum (or never did it themselves) and won't disclose how to get there. They'll have you sell your friends and family and friend's family and family's friends, and then you quit and they keep the accounts. Selling whole life insurance or cold calling Detroit municipals is a great way to test attitude.

Yeah, sales isn't for me. I did telemarketing sales in the past. The product was solid and work, but I don't like pressured sales tactics myself and didn't want to do it to others.
If, say I was a car salesman and someone came in wanting a car, but unsure of which one they wanted. I could speak intelligently on the product and try to figure out which one would be best and maybe steer them towards some better options, etc. But I don't have it in me to try to convince someone not looking for a car that they need to buy a car today.
I have three big oaks in my back yard. Only thing I hate about them is all of the leaves get in the pool. But recently had them thinned / trimmed out. So a good half of the leaves that were in the tree aren't there.-

I'm here from downtown. I'm here from Mitch and Murray. And I'm here on a mission of mercy. Your name's Chaz? You call yourself a salesman you son of a bitch?
But I mostly agree, qualify for need, interest, money, time frame, suitability, and attitude, quickly and swiftly.DR. 3time

Farles, you might be on-board with ol' Petey C in this instance:
http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap300...football-sense
"Forget the steps or whatever you want to count and all that -- he caught the ball and then he turned and then the ball came out," Carroll said of Sunday's play. "Did he catch it? Yeah. Is the ball out? Yeah. I wish we would use that sense, but we're trying to make it so defined that you get stuck with the definition of it. 'Is it two full steps and then he looks like he was doing the football move' and all that, all those things. Did he catch the ball?"-

Sometimes the old comparison to the definition of porn "know it when see it" seems like the way to go with things.
I understand, quite well, providing a concise and consistent definition for something, for all to follow, for purposes of consistency, but some things just don't lend themselves to that.

I just hate them trying to define it how they are.
Okay.. so before it was you had to have both feet down. Now it is both feet down and a 3rd step + football move.
yet if a receiver is completely outstretched catching a ball as he goes out of bounds, yet drags both toes in bounds, it is good?

Just popping back in.
So, looks like KU is wanting to imitate the self-absorbed idiots at Mizzou. Some jerks at KU are wanting the student president to resign...
I pray that K-State doesn't go down that road... they don't want to hear an earful from their alumni!

"“Sen. Rand Paul said Thursday he would introduce a bill that would give District of Columbia residents the ability to get gun permits and visitors from around the U.S. the right to carry concealed weapons while in the nation’s capital. . . . In addition, it would require the nation’s capital to start issuing concealed weapons permits to residents and non-residents, as well as grant reciprocity of permits issued by states. Firearm owners would be allowed to carry in public, non-sensitive areas of federal property.”

That sound you're hearing is Farley passing out after all the blood in his body rushed to his erection.
Though I'm actually shocked by this. Most legislators only believe white folks should be able to have guns,* and letting DC residents carry disrupts this paradigm.
*the same way every Christian state legislator is always shocked and appalled to discover that that religious school funding law they pass applies equally to those awful Muslims and doesn't just benefit the group they want it to benefit.***Anyone With "Crew" in Their Signature Sucks Balls Crew***

Translation: A senator proposed that D.C. do what the majority of states have done for years/decades...at a time when the new trend for states is not to even require a license or permit, but rather, simply allow people to carry guns freely. Even if it passes still a step behind the times.
