Speaking of stupid fandom, the guy who was shot and killed in the AT&T Stadium parking lot a few weeks ago was a friend of mine from high school. Not close enough to where I'd kept tabs on him the last 20 years or so, but still. Got chills when his picture popped up in the local news that night.

Shot in the parking lot after the game. Supposedly, he was trying to break up a fight. I don't know if he even knew anybody involved. Reports make it sound like he was just playing Good Samaritan.

Because so many fans in all of the stadiums all over the country where lawful carriers can carry have that happen all the time.

Well, I'm pretty sure that's never happened once despite a metric **** ton of opportunities, but whatever.

ETA: As we have seen proven time and again, the POS lowlifes DGAF about rules or laws. The kind of person who would do something like this...they DGAF and they'll do what they want.

According to Google, they are in their "Old Age" at 65. So their life span is around humans to just shorter than that.

Apparently Jar Jar was born 52 BBY (Before Battle of Yavin), which took place in the latter half of Empire Strikes Back.

New trilogy is 30 years after Return, so Jar Jar would be on the tail end of his life span. That being said, if he managed to find a Sith Holocron (or most likely like many Sith Lords before him, after finding one, strive to find others) he might have unearthed ways to extend his life. Since many, many Sith Lords attempted to do just that and chronicled their studies and findings in holocrons over the eons.

Palpatine was one big one who sought a key to immortality. Plagueis (Palpatine's master) had the ability to recreate life in others but chose not to study essence transfers as he didn't like the idea of shifting from body to body (something lords did in the past to continue their lifespan).
