First off big thanks to bpi head rep Fugitive and bpi for sending me a 2lb container to try out and review and
after going through pretty much the WHOLE container I'm ready to post my thoughts on it. I've practically used
most of the container in protein shakes and it took a while until I was able to really pinpoint what I thought this
flavor of chocolate tasted like so now it's time to review it.
Ingredient Profile- VERY GOOD!!!

Ingredients:
Protein Blend (Whey Protein Isolate, Whey Protein Concentrate, Whey Protein Hydrolysate), Cocoa Processed with Alkali, Natural and Artificial Flavors, Salt, Xanthan Gum, Sucralose, Soy Lecithin, and Lactase.
Looking at this you can see it's a PURE WHEY protein blend and at a 32 gm scoop your getting 24 gm of protein so really
not much room for any fillers or unnecessary ingredients. The first protein listed is whey isolate then the concentrate and
to complete it is the hydrolysate. This is definitely a solid profile and you have a dose of Lactase which I feel is important
to help with digestion of the proteins and I've seen this in Whey HD and in the Cutler Total protein so this is a very good
addition to any protein profile.
Mix Ability - GOOD (Just a little foam on top)
I mix all my shakes in a shaker cup with water and this protein always mixed up very easily with no clumps or particles
floating around but it did get a little head of foam on top which settled pretty fast so nothing drastic like the Isolate protein
that I reviewed from another brand a few weeks ago which even though that brand foamed up a lot it still tasted very good.
There were a few dark specs that were extremely tiny that floated around but I think that had something to do with the flavoring
and that was also no issue at all.
Taste- VERY GOOD!!!
There has been a lot of mention about the Vanilla Swirl flavor of this same protein but this flavor DEFINITELY needs to be talked
about also, WHY? cause it took me a while to really get the flavor down that I wanted to associate this protein with and it says
Chocolate Brownie which I think is a decent name for this flavor but honestly it should be called Melted Chocolate Kisses.
Notice I didn't put Hershey's Choc Kisses because then you would have to pay Hershey's big bucks $ for using their name and
I don't know if the words Choc Kisses is patented by Hershey's but if it isn't that should be the name of this flavor because 1 scoop
mixed in 5- 6 oz of water gives you that taste and it's QUITE DELICIOUS and ENJOYABLE!!!
On thing I noticed about the flavor was that it tasted fantastic in water as a shake but when I mixed it in either cottage cheese
or plain yogurt it kind of went flat and lost it's flavor so I went with this protein basically as a drinking protein in shakes.
Price- Very Competitive with other brands
bpi and their other brand Cutler have been running some GREAT sales especially on their protein and now with the ChromaDex
seal on the containers of bpi and soon to be Cutler you can rest assure that what is on the label is in the container and this brand
keeps running very good sales on their protein here on bb.com to try get people to try out their product and see that the flavorings
are on point and the quality is just as good or better than some of the brands that people have been using for years but these
companies haven't really updated their flavoring where bpi is DEFINITELY hitting great strides on their flavoring of pretty much most
of their supplement line.
Overall- YES HIGHLY RECOMMEND !!!
If you are someone who has tried WHEY-HD Chocolate Cookie and was not a fan of the flavor which I personally like but think
it was more of just a milk choc and not a choc cookie which the pic on the container leads you believe or if you've tried Cutler
Total Protein in the Choc Brownie and your not a big fan of this one which I am going through a container of that right now
and I am NOT a fan of that one this bpi Best Protein Choc Brownie I think you will ENJOY!!! Like I mentioned in my taste review
this does taste like a Hershey's Melted Chocolate Kiss and I don't know anyone who doesn't like Choc Kisses but if you don't
then skip this flavor and pick another one cause Best Protein now added 3 more flavors Strawberry, Banana, and S'mores and
I'm sure from the taste of their other proteins in these flavors bpi has hit a few home runs and I'm sure the flavoring is up to par
with the new Best Protein line but as soon as I get my hands on other flavors I'll post my thoughts on them.
Once again BIG THANKS to Fugitive and bpi for giving me the chance to try out and review this flavor which again I think should
be called Chocolate Kisses.

this flavor is really well made (im not a big fan of chocolate protein anymore). naming could be different, doesnt resemble the flavor but nice job, good effort.

This is the recipe to make these Chocolate Raspberry Almond White Chip Protein Bars
Ingredients
1-2 cups of rolled oats
2- 1 cup of bpi Best Protein Choc Brownie
3- 1/4 cup of chopped roasted almonds
4- 1/4 cup of freeze dried raspberries
5- 1/4 cup of white choc chips
6- 2 heaping tbs of chunky no salt almond butter
7- 1/4 cup of unsweetened apple sauce
8- 1/4 cup of unsweetened almond milk
9- 1 tbs of liquid chocolate extract or vanilla can also be used
Mix in a large bowl all the dry ingredients and in a separate smaller bowl mix the wet, then add the wet to the dry and mix
thoroughly until pretty much all the dry has some of the wet coated on it and you should end up with a big glob of ingredients.
Take a 7x5 Pyrex dish and coat it with nonstick spray then take the big glob of ingredients and transfer it to the Pyrex dish.
Now have a small bowl of water by your side so that you can dip a spoon into it and use the back of the spoon to smooth out
the blob of ingredients until it's completely leveled and even on all sides. Then cover and place it into the fridge at least 24 hrs
to firm up but if you leave in longer that's fine. Sometimes I don't get a chance to cut up the bars for at least 2 or 3 days cause
I'm busy but that won't effect the bars in any way.
I had these bars taste tested by 5 people 4 of them were guys and one woman and the guys have tasted my stuff that I make
before but this was the first time for the woman. The guys ALL gave me a 2 thumbs up and said it was one of the best protein
bars they ever tasted and the woman gave me 1 thumb up but again it's the first time she ever tasted anything made with protein
and woman are very tough critics when it comes to protein and they like sweet tasting stuff.
Just to make a long story short a few days later that same woman at my job came and ask me "Do you have any more
of those protein bars that you gave me the other day cause it was really very good" So I would say that was her 2nd
thumb going up so these bars got nothing but 2 thumbs up

I agree with your thoughts on this flavour. I bought it on discount a few months ago, and it sold me on BPI products. I just bought their Banana Dream, and Snowcone Creatine, and Passion Fruit BCAs. Their flavour variety is amazing!
Awesome bars, BTW. I will make them myself someday. But my bars always turn to mush and fall apart. I wonder what I do wrong? The thing I like least about the treadmill is that I can't run from my farts. -- Source unknown

Thanks for checking the review and bpi doss do some good flavoring on their proteins and I've tried two flavors of their
bcaa's fruit punch and watermelon and both were very good but I haven't experienced that snow cone yet. If you follow
the recipe of the protein bars that I posted above your bars should come out EXACTLY like mine.
The key is not to put to much liquid in the wet ingredients so if you follow the exact measurements that I posted when you
add the wet to the dry you have to keep working the mixture with a spoon until all the dry ingredients have a little bit of wet
coating on them. The dry only needs to be coated lightly what happens is that people probably see the mixture dry and add
more milk and that's the mistake and the reason the bars come soupy and not firm.
When the mixture is coated you should be left with a big blob of ingredients which you will transfer to a 7x5 Pyrex dish that
is coated with nonstick spray and flatten the blob of ingredients and when it's all flat cover and place into the fridge at least
24hrs to really firm up but I've left some of my bars in the fridge sometimes for about 48 hrs and then I cut them up and they
come perfect. If you have any questions just feel free to ask and hopefully when you do make the bars they come out as good
as the ones that I posted.

This is the recipe to make these Chocolate Almond Protein Brownies
Ingredients
1- 1 cup and 1/2 of oat powder (Muscle Feast Brand) Ground up oats or oat flour will also work
2- 2 70cc and a 1/2 scoops of bpi Best Protein Chocolate Brownie
3- 1 tsp of baking powder
4- 3 tbs of 100% coco powder
5- slightly more than 1/4 cup of chopped roasted almonds
6- 1 bar of 72% dark cacao cut up into tiny pieces ( I used a 1.65oz bar Trader Joe Brand)
7- 4 egg whites
8- 4 tbs of nonfat plain yogurt
9- 4 oz of unsweetened almond milk
10- 2 heaping tbs of canned pumpkin ( this really helped keep these brownies moist)
11- 2 tbs of liquid almond extract
12- 30 dark choc chips (optional) after the batter is in the pan I pop into the batter and space them out so that each brownie gets
that little extra hit of choc and I just push the chip into the batter using the tip of a knife.
If some wants a sweeter brownie they can use an artificial sweetener of their choice I don't cause I just prefer more of a stronger
choc flavor than sweeter brownie.
In a large bowl mix all the dry ingredients then add the wet one ingredient at a time then mix thoroughly. Then pour the
batter into a 8 or 9 in pan that has been coated with nonstick spray. I used a 9 in Pyrex dish which I coated with nonstick
spray then after the batter is in the pan drop the extra chips into the batter spacing them out so that when you cut the
brownies each one will have that little extra choc. Place the pan into a 325 degree preheated oven for about 30 min or
until your testing tooth pick comes out almost dry but it still should be a little moist on the inside when you remove it from
the oven.
Let the brownies cool off completely before either placing the pan into the fridge over night before cutting or cut the brownies
and then wrap them up in foil and place into the fridge over night before eating. You can actually eat these right away but I
like to let the ingredients come to together over night before I eat them. I would recommend trying one before you place into
the fridge overnight and then the next day you can try another and see if you like them better right after you make them or
they have been in the fridge overnight.
