We decided to stay in our current home because it's paid for and we like the neighborhood/area. Our previous neighbors sold their house to these hillbilly inbred mother****ers who have 5 dogs and 3 old beat to hell Toyota 4 runners. We had the storm and the fence between us went down. We got estimates and they came up with $3000 for 80 linear feet of fence. Lol, hell no. They tried to threaten us with legal action until my attorney called them and reminded them of city statutes about pets, property lines and all. The fence is on their lot, I was being kind to offer to pay half. We're looking for a new house, regardless.

First world problems. I ordered a Surface Pro 3 the other day for work. Microsoft had a sale on it at the time. I saved $200 on it. It came yesterday. I turn it on and there are several lines flickering constantly in the middle of the screen. That's unacceptable. So I have asked them to send a new one.

I was told my options were to 1) have them ship out a refurbished one and they would not have to cancel the order or 2) cancel the order, send the unit in, and reorder. Option 1 is a no go obviously. So I asked the lady on the phone about me getting the discount of $200 when I reordered. She couldn't give me the discount. So now she has to ask her 'higher ups' for a discount.

I needed this laptop here at work this week. With all this crap I will be lucky to get it in two weeks.

is the surface pro in 5.56 or .223?

That's my frustration with it all. We are a smaller company but we pay Microsoft at least $45K per year in licensing and software. It's not like they will go broke with giving me a discount.

Did you buy it with a credit card? You could file a price protection claim with your card and they'll match what you originally paid.

I paid $4000 to replace a fence separating me from a loser neighbor. He didn't cough up a dime. No surprise there. He doesn't even have AC in his house. And, he doesn't maintain his backyard so there's vines growing onto/into the fence. The vines push the wood apart and are slowly destroying the fence.

Neighbors make me rage.

I did use a company credit card to buy it. I would have to go through the accounting department to do that I guess. I was trying to minimize confusion.

Those things must be cursed. I bought one for a guy out here at work off Newegg cause they were wanting to get it as cheap as possible and when we got it the screen was broke. Scheduled a replacement through Newegg and sent it back. About a week later I get a statement with a credit for the Surface on it so I call them and ask where the replacement is and they tell me they didn't have that product number available anymore so they just refunded the money and wouldn't knock off anything on a different one.

Same, followed the tracking number every day excited to go pick it up and then got a delay. Owner said that they have an additional 2 day wait policy on top of the 3 days... Haven't heard a peep since.

Looks like common sense won out in Missouri.

JEFFERSON CITY • The Missouri Supreme Court has upheld a constitutional amendment approved by voters in August that bolsters gun rights.

In February, St. Louis Police Chief Sam Dotson presented his case against the amendment, alleging the ballot summary presented to voters was misleading and failed to explain the amendment, making it an irregular election.

The summary presented to voters said “that the right to keep and bear arms is an unalienable right and that the state government is obligated to uphold that right.”

The court disagreed and held the election results valid.

Amendment 5, which 60 percent of August voters supported, declares the right to keep and bear arms “unalienable” and subjects laws restricting gun rights to “strict scrutiny.”

Residents have the right to keep ammunition and accessories, as well as the right to defend their families with firearms — a right previously limited to defending home, property and person.

The amendment also repeals wording that states that the right to bear arms does not justify carrying concealed weapons. Lawmakers can still pass laws limiting the rights of convicted violent felons and people with mental illnesses.

Might be a holiday thing combined with the fact that I can't walk into a great clips without there being about 30 other guys with the same name (Even though I gave them my Soc on the 4473). Time to file for a UPIN
