Long account history and account variety (mortgage, auto, credit cards) is the only way to attain master race credit approval. Nobody gets approved solely on FICO

Why do people think Utility bills are on their credit report. They aren't. The only way they affect you is if you don't pay and they go into collections. Paying utilities on time doesn't do sht for your credit..... Why would it? It's not a loan. Your paying for a service that you used.

Credit score numbers are the biggest scams going these days.........The credit score companies are raking in millions pounding this message, you must have a high score to be somebody.......Actually, it's easy to get a high number. Buy something big and pay it off a little at a time on time so the credit company makes plenty of money on you......If you make a credit purchase and then pay it off all at once, it will not help your credit score as much as if you pay if off timely in installments because the credit company doesn't make as much money.......Credit scores are really about making money for credit lending companies.......They are in business to make money, period.

Paying cell phone bill doesn't help your credit. Only paying back loans does (like CC, student loans, car notes, or mortgage).
