2rd)The Jets are going to trade Big Buf.A high first round pick and a top prospect should do it.I got a feeling he'll end up in Boston.Buf to Boston,Milan Lucic to Edmonton and Leon Draisaitl to Winnipeg.One of the reasons Buffalo traded for Kane was to have a big tough winger to protect McDavid/Eichel like Semenko protected Gretzky.

Cth)The Jets should do everything they can to get Leon Draisaitl out of Edmonton.He's the big high scoring center the Jets need.Put him on a line with Nikolaj Ehlers and start planning the Stanley Cup parade.

So it sounds like Talbot will be a goner for sure. If they can manage to pull in a nice crop including at least a couple young roster ready players for him and Nash the Rangers will be back in contention next season, although not good enough to win the cup once again. I mean I guess what it depends on what they can get but I can't see Nash brining much in return, I heard Oshie, Steen, and something else for Nash yesterday, lol, just lol, I wish. And I'll say it again, why not explore an extension with Talbot and what a Lundqvist trade could get you? Sather can once again put the Rags in a position where they will make a decent playoff run this year but why not put them in a position where they actually have a chance of winning the cup in a few years?
