I see people itt getting like 80g of fiber which is insane that they can handle that. I get tons of bloating and constant chits if I exceed 30g. Everyone's different.

Lol @ paying for that. It's such a scum move that they make people pay that much. Maybe $12/year I'd get, but a monthly subscription? Phuck that.

Damn bro, that's unreal. I need help on a diet for cutting 100 pounds or so. People say it comes down to calories in vs. calories out, but that isn't all of the equation is it?

That is all of the equation. 100 lbs is going to be a very long cut though, your looking at a year or longer. And tbh if you keep lowering your cals and upping cardio for that long eventually you'll hit a point where it's just unrealistic to keep eating so little and working out so much. So you'll probably end up doing a reverse diet or two during this process.
But that's a problem down the road. Just start eating less calories than you burn and you'll be on your way.

Thanks Gibb, I appreciate it. I've lost 13 pounds on a low carb diet but I'm miserable on that diet and it's pretty much unrealistic to maintain for a year or so, at least for my circumstances. I'll just stick to 2,000 calories like I have been and weight lifting 3x a week, with focus on protein consumption.

    This^

Low enough cals to lose weight.
High enough protein (and lifting) to preserve muscle mass.

Being consistent is the only key.

    It isn't rocket surgery.

    Edit:

I've personally done a keto diet for a couple months and it wasn't worth it. Results were exactly the same in the end, but like you said it's miserable while you're doing it. Up your carbs and lower your fats, and cutting can actually feel fine.

Das it mane, I've never felt so horrible in the gym while on a different diet than I was on low carb. Definitely gonna go with a high protein, low fat and medium carb diet. Thanks, we're gonna make it bros.

At your weight I would think you could cut on way more calories, but who knows how active you are outside of the gym. I'd suggest incorporating more activity if you can. Just simple things like walking rather than driving whenever possible. Nothing to drastic. And just for fun, I'd get my thyroid looked at (I'm sure it's not a problem, but if it is think of how much easier life would be when medicated lol).

I'm not very active at the moment, mostly sedentary but I do a good amount of yard work and house chores so who knows exactly. But I've always been able to lose weight reliably at 2,000 cals a day. I think once I hit a plateau I'll add in cardio on off days to burn even more, but that's a ways down the road. We'll all make it brah.

Also who cares if you can't set specific macros. It takes no time to calculate that chit in your head. You can get very close just by using percentages

Not even. Just set the macros to whatever on MFP and hit your real macros. Not too hard to remember 3 numbers (amirite?).

Been stalling for like a week and woke up today 3 lbs lighter. Im making it brahs. Gonna crash this week and then up my calories for a bit, gonna try start doing some cardio too - 'cause I've been cutting for 2.5 months now and done 0 cardio. feelsgoodman

    @Lossy
Lighting / angle is everything brah. Every picture takes advantage of that. You do look around ~7% though. Sick conditioning.
