Are there parts of your house that you never go into?
I have 4 bathrooms and never go into three of them.
I also rarely go to family room or the downstairs laundry room. We have 2 laundry rooms and I'll do my share of laundry but I just use the upstairs one
I'm in garage, kitchen and living room and 5 of the 6 bedrooms daily
18 yo daughters room like once a month
Dining room like every other day

It goes to show you could "live" with a much smaller home. I only have a 3 bedroom and it is the misses, my son, and me. I still have the guest bedroom that I never go in with the exception to open and shut the door when my boy is out crawling around looking for stuff to get into.
My better half has the guest closet full of clothes though, so it is basically an extra closet for us with a bed in it.

I actually walk around the house quite a lot when I am thinking/working from home. I have one of the home automation systems where you can operate everything from an ipad. If I put a headset on and carry one of the ipads, I can wander from room to room with voice recognition going to the house server via headset/ipad and it automatically displaying things on the tv of whichever room I am in. Boys and their toys, what can I say
I find I think better when I am walking, so I wander in and out of every room.Screw nature; my body will do what I DAMN WELL tell it to do!

When our family was just starting out we had one bathroom for me, wife and two girls. That was a lot of fun when then became teenagers. I took more than a few trips outside to pee. Now that the family is grown we have three bathrooms, one of them I have never been in.

Spare bedroom upstairs, wife uses it for a closet but I never go in there. The dining room is simply a way to go from the livingroom to the foyer and then upstairs, we have eaten in there less than 6 times in 10 years. Wifes office I hardly ever go into, no reason for me too.

I just built a chicken coop. I actually like hanging out in there with the chickens. It's very therapeutic going back to the basics and being close to nature.

2 women in the house, 1 bathroom, sometimes a healthy pee off the back porch in the dark feels pretty good actually.

I used to enjoy sitting in my truck in the barn listening to Yankees baseball and drinking beer. Could never get ESPN radio in the house, but enjoyed the experience in the truck better anyway.Don't put that on me Ricky Bobby, don't you ever put that on me.

This reminds me of when I was a kid...my family would go to Northern Michigan for a few weeks. My dad would take us boys and our cousins, a cooler full of beer (which we had to carry), his radio and climb the tallest hill/mountain he could find....he would drink beer, listen to white sox games and us boys would run all over the hill/mountain..

Every time I step into a gym
for the time I'm there it is considered
"my house".
When I'm in "my house"
I frequent the squat rack, the free weight section, almost any Hammer Strength section, and I will even go into the ladies only section if they have better equipment because when I'm in
"my house" the gym floor is the great equalizer and I DGAF if you're female, orangutan, or a Klingon...when I'm in the house its all about my progress.
Pbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbt!
I do not go into the areas where the TRX machine is, the old people circuit training section, the foam roller/stretching section, the rubber band and muscle up section, and actively avoid anywhere mens physique competitors are.
I also spend as little time as possible in the change room as that's where men with 4 bathrooms, 2 laundry rooms, and 5 bedrooms usually hang out blow drying their sacks.

We reconfigured a few rooms in the house recently because I could never find the kids, not in a bad way but it was hard rounding everyone together to do anything or leave on time. Our 3rd living room became a bedroom, a den was converted to an office, and the upstairs dining area converted to a galley kitchen. I generally don't go on the second floor unless it is to chase the dog. I spend most of my time in my office, the garden, or the basement. When I retire I'm going to a single level house..with a basement that I can hang out in. I've been thinking of converting the basement to an apartment for myself and giving the house battle over to the kids with the exception of the kitchen where we all meet to have meals and the family room...which I've found is any room we are all in.
I go into the servant quarters at night time.
This is why I have my own bathroom. Our first place had a guest bathroom I used exclusively unless we had company, now years later I have my own bathroom. Kids + bathroom = Truckstop bathroom.Ndtha ton eda yi'mg oIng tofi

Oh man that is too funny. I got in trouble for this as I sometimes pee in my backyard when I"m out doing yard work so I don't track dirt/grass into the house. My 5 year old nephew saw me one day and decided to blame it on me when he got caught peeing on the mailbox in front of his house in view of the whole neighborhood LOL.

I moved from a 4 bedroom house to a 1 bedroom apt a couple years ago and its great. I recently got a garage so that nice but I just threw away just about everything I owned when I came here.
Felt great as 99% of my stuff was junk. I have not wanted one single item that I threw away in the past 3 years. I make it a point to not accumulate junk now.
