Hi Dave! I'm Andy (BluesPreacher).
I just joined a few days ago. Shane and other guys have been really nice, sending stuff to help me get started.
Anyway, I watched your vid--yea, great presses, and great on the last two reps!

Had a pretty much nothing, blah type workout today. Not even remotely worried about it. I'm off nights now, slept for about 4 hours this morning and I'm pretty much a zombie right now. Thought about putting it off a day but with all the stuff planned for this weekend and going away for a couple of days on Monday, it was now or never. So hit up deads, some pause squat work and that was pretty much it. Today will be an extremely low cal day for me. Try and keep my protein level up with a shake or two but I can't see myself being awake much past 9pm tonight.

BB Complex - Rows, Cleans, Front Squats. Press
Pause Squats
5 x 95 - Front squats
5 x 115 - Fronts
5 x 135 - Back
5 x 155 - Back
5 x 185 - Back
No energy and left it there.
Deads
5 × 135 [45]
5 × 165 [45,10,5]
3 × 200 [45,25,5,2.5]

Pretty much all I could muster today. Might have got a couple more but they would've been ugly and poor form so left it there. No vid. Nothing to see here today lol No accessories today.
Gonna go spend some time floating around my pool with the kids and get a good walk in with them later.

I'm glad I did too in hindsight. Got a bike ride in with my daughter and a walk. I'm calling it a successful day. Not quite what I'd planned for this session this week but the main work got done so that's good enough.
ha I wish I was eating more. Will make up tomorrow a bit. When I'm this tired it's a chore to put anything in at all. I was right there with you at around 1500 max today.
Yeah I know good progress has honestly been made. Still think they're tiny though
Thanks Vic. Lots of squats
Thanks Shane. Those were the sortest of my pauses. Just a 2 count and a fairly quick one at that lol
Pool time was awesome.
Thanks man. You'll be right along with me before you know it with all that squatting you have lined up.
Was ready to go back into the gym after reading your day srs lol Glad I didn't. Got bench tomorrow so I'll make up for it then365 255 480 in April! ...2019

+1 on the wheels shot dave - looking great. I can't remember seeing a wheels shot in here before, so can't say what progress you have made, but those are quads for anyone to be proud of for sure. Nice work!

My usual plan of early to bed and getting back on track fell apart last night around midnight. Woke up starving which wasn't a shock considering I had hardly eaten all day. So got up and tied a feed bag on. I was like a kid in a candy store. Cereal, a few chips and ice cream. I don't even care Slept fairly well after that too. Back on track today.
My day today is a hectic one. Coffee, bench workout, float around in the pool, kids home early (last day of school), moar pool, maybe some lunch, bike ride with the kids, taking the kids to McD's to celebrate the start of their summer break, ball hockey, hockey draft/baseball game on the tube, sleep.
Thanks Doc
First one I've ever posted. The rest I've ever taken are long gone and never once made it online. So basically previous pictures looked just like that only smaller SM2SM has helped a ton!
Yesterday was my first official float around after a workout day and I loved it. But I was lying there and all I could think of was this pool needs to be bigger. This will end up costing me a fortune in a year or two I know it365 255 480 in April! ...2019

Sounds like a gruelling schedule today Dave...don't hurt yourself floating
I have one more squat and calf session today and off to the lake once the rats finish up their last day at ecole! I will not lie, I am looking forward to no gym for a couple days.
Big benching today after midnight feed!!☻/

Finished it all off with a few chinups all different grips. I still can't do more than a 2 or 3 at a go. Did as many bw as I could per set and used my bench to add some reps in.
Overall a good session. Didn't get that 3rd rep at 185 that I wanted but once again the plus set zapped me I'm sure. Definitely reaping the benefits of that midnight carb load today Protein ftw today365 255 480 in April! ...2019

Big session today Dave. I see the safeties got a workout today. At least you left everything you had at bar man, and how are going to know if the safeties actually work if you don't put them to the test every now and then.
I am going to have to start doing some high rep goblets or hack squats to catch up with you and your legs man. Squatting alone isn't going to do it.
Great work as always!

Lower cal day. Protz lower than I wanted but appetite just not there today. Not sure what's going on. Usually not a chore for me to eat.
Todays cals:
Had some of this which was awesome:
Chicken and feta sausauge, cheese stuffed sausage with sauteed veggies and a baked potato with butter.
Thanks Andy, was really happy with that session.
Ha, yeah they usually do when I push it on bench Had to try. Goblets are awesome. My legs are absolutely fried right now.
Thanks Vic.
It was a good one. Rest day tomorrow with hopefully some biking with the kids if the weather allows. Supposed to rain though.

You seem to have a lot of movement through your hips and legs when benching, like your not quite tight enough through your whole body, might help with the 185 next time
