    Joint support

I'm a big time runner/stair master/cardio queen, but lately joint pain has been making it tougher and tougher. Usually I can work around whatever is sore for the day: knee/shoulder/ankle/etc, but I want to take a more proactive approach. From googling, I think cissus, glucosamine, and MSM are the most research supported supplement for joints?

I've been looking in the bb.com store, and there are SO many options. It's overwhelming. Can you guys recommend me a few options that you have used that have actually worked?

I guess I'm looking for a supplement with strong clinical dosages of the three ingredients listed above.. Or a some similar combo? Am I missing anything?

    Thanks guys!

    My go to stack is

    Primaforce cissus
    Primaforce Elastamine
    Controlled labs oximega fish oil

We have powder and capped cissus because the taste isn't great, I don't mind it but a lot prefer caps, just slightly more expensive.

    I dose it like this

    Am
    2 Elastamine
    1g cissus
    2 oximega

    Pm
    2 Elastamine
    1g cissus

That right there has done wonders for my joint issues

45 day supply at above dosing 14 dollars
    http://www.bodybuilding.com/store/prima/elast.html

50 day supply at above dosing 20 dollars
    http://www.bodybuilding.com/store/pr...suspowder.html

60 day supply at above dosing 18 dollars, plus get a sampler of oximega greens which is also awesome
    http://www.bodybuilding.com/store/cl...e-oximega.html

Other then that in a few months we have a new joint formula dropping and it had some outstanding results in the testing.

If I could pick only one, it would be cissus

Thanks for the quick response. I didn't think of fish oil as a joint supplement before. I've used Orange Triad, and was very happy with the quality. I'll order the Oximega for sure.

The elastimine looks good, I just wish it wasn't a prop blend. The cissus powder is the one I've actually been eyeing! I'm debating on powder or pill form. I think I'd do better with the powder, bc I get tired of taking pills, but taste is pretty rough with the powder?

Blue Star Joint Armour, USPLabs Super Cissus and SD Pharma Cissus 800 are some of the good Cissus products.

Orange Triad and Animal Flex are also very popular around here.

Add a good Fish Oil to your stack as well.

I personally stack OT, oximega and flexible for my joints. It makes sure I get a little extra of everything since bad knees plus a job I'm on my feet all day add up.

If you're taking OT, you have a lot covered. Adding a fish oil and Cissus is a great idea. I would opt for caplets versus a powder.

Maybe look into some cardio with less impact on the ankle and knee joints ie; rowing machine, bike, elliptical, swimming, etc...at least just at the moment

As for supps I like Animal Flex or Orange Triad

To me it tastes like powdered coffee, I just go scoop to mouth and drink some liquid to wash it down

Ive been using Orange Triad since the dawn of time, I recently threw in some animal flex along side it because of some nagging shoulder issues and it has almost disappeared.

I have a couple of bottles of Orange Triad I haven't opened yet. Was trying to use up my old multi first. I didn't realize it had a joint formula mixed in there. :/ I'm going to make the swap over.

The blue star joint armor I can't find in the store.

For cissus I'm considering one of the following:
    -SD Pharm Cissus 800
    -I force joint help
    -Primaforce Cissus

Oximega (which I should have had for awhile, just hate fish burps)
    -will prob order cl Oximega
    -maybe bb.com one

I'm strongly considering adding in the animal flex as well, would that be too much given what I listed above? I think this sounds like a solid recovery stack for my issues, I'm wagering I'd need most for awhile for maintenance as well?

Am I missing or overlooking anything? Thanks for the help guys.

That's great advice. I might try the rowing machine today. I'm just hoping this doesn't become a long term handicap, I like running & stairmaster!

Honestly I get more from cissus than just about any other classical "joint support" ingredient in terms of supplements.

The best thing you can do for yourself, though, (in my experience anyway) is to implement a thorough and effective warmup routine. I got mine from a physical therapist friend of mine and she really changed my life by making things so much less painful.

I don't think you'll get fish burps from cl oximega, I never have

The elastimine looks good, I just wish it wasn't a prop blend. The cissus powder is the one I've actually been eyeing! I'm debating on powder or pill form. I think I'd do better with the powder, bc I get tired of taking pills, but taste is pretty rough with the powder?
personally, i didn't think cissus powder was "too" bad. In hot water it almost tastes like tea actually.

Thanks, I will try cissus. Any chance you want to share some warmup tips? Usually I just jump on the machines. That's probably not the best way to start.

    Both of these.

My personal stack is 3g MSM, 3g Glucosamine, 3g Cissus XT.

Ya, I'm going to look at Animal Flex next if I'm not seeing results with this stack. I'm tempted to order just for the pill case!

Although time away can be difficult... the proactive approach is to rest up and give your aching joints some time to heal. During that time you can work with supplemental use to help with the recovery process. Check your footwear as well.

SD pharmaceuticals cissus & flex freak did a great job for me.
Animal flex is another solid and cheaper option.
first 2-3 tubs of Flexible worked nice, but last 2 not so well.

    I dose it like this

    Am
    2 Elastamine
    1g cissus
    2 oximega

    Pm
    2 Elastamine
    1g cissus

That right there has done wonders for my joint issues

60 day supply at above dosing 18 dollars, plus get a sampler of oximega greens which is also awesome

Other then that in a few months we have a new joint formula dropping and it had some outstanding results in the testing.

If I could pick only one, it would be cissus
This about wraps up what I would have said...
Id start out with cissus and see if that does the trick, go from there...
