Arms Shaking on Explosive DB Press reps for help

Doing PHAT, it calls for a 6x3 of explosive reps for all main lifts which includes Flat DB Press. When I do it, after I complete the rep, my arms shake like a damn rubber band. It's obviously not because the weight is heavy, it's like is has something to do with the speed. Anyone else felt this? Is it a bad thing? Reps for help.

Your arms are going to shake a little bit because they are working independently and don't have the same stabilization you get with barbell exercises. This is what makes them a good lift.

Yeah, that makes sense. They shake a lot more on explosive reps though, which seems odd.

Maybe control the eccentric phase a bit more? You talk about speed it sounds like you might be trying to go through it too quickly. Like dropping through the negative to get a little bounce at the bottom for some momentum for the explosive concentric contraction. Make sure you're good and chambered for your explosion. Like doing a side kick or coming off the line you want a solid base to explode from. Not going to do any good if you just throw yourself out there. Might not be your problem, just something to think about.
    There's always room to grow.
