What this cop did was stupid. But it is crazy to see all these teenage girls not following orders, they have no respect for police at all.
Whole video is intense but at the 3:00 mark cop pulls a girl in bathing suit down to ground. Then pulls a gun.

AUSTIN, Texas (Reuters) - A Dallas-area policeman has been placed on administrative leave after a video surfaced in social media that showed him throwing a bathing-suit clad girl to the ground and drawing a gun on another at a pool party disturbance, officials said on Sunday.

"This video has raised concerns that are being investigated," the police department in McKinney, a city about 30 miles north of Dallas, said on Sunday.

The incident occurred on Friday and raised questions on social media about racial bias in policing since most of the people targeted by the officer, who appears in the video to be white, were black teens in a multi-race crowd.

In the video, the officer, who has not been named, is seen shouting obscenities at the teens and placing a black youth in handcuffs.

Another officer, who also appears to be white, is seen engaging with some of the teens in a cordial manner.

McKinney Police said officers were responding to a disturbance reported at a pool that is part of a residential community and many in the crowd refused to leave.

Only reason I've seen is in the video description by the kid who posted it. Take it with a grain of salt.

"A fight between a mom and a girl broke out and when the cops showed up everyone ran, including the people who didn't do anything. So the cops just started putting everyone on the ground and in handcuffs for no reason. This kind of force is uncalled for especially on children and innocent bystanders."

I've watched the video three times and I'm going to have to side with the Cop on this one. The gentlemen in the blue cap displayed a variety of aggressive behaviors including throwing his hat on the ground and taking a fighting position. Being a white knight almost got this guy killed.

I don't want to make this into a race thread but its interesting how all the dark skinned people were instructed to sit on the ground while the light skinned and white people were free to go on their way.

Instinctively, I might have pulled by firearm out in that situation too, as I was accessing the threat. I feel bad for that officer and his family. Hopefully he’s back on the job soon.

The cop. Whole situation was handed poorly. he created way more chaos with his actions that if he knew how to control himself or a situation. He looks absolutely lost in some parts of the video.
