    lower abs hard but large

I have no problem with my upper abs. The six pack is perfectly formed and delineated. It's the area below that sees too big. It's as hard as the upper abs but seems too protruding. I was wondering if I am doing some of the exercises incorrectly. I do 200 crunches, 40 cross crunches, leg lifts, front roll-up and the main exercise that I do for my lower abs is rolling up knees into my chest as I hang from arm supporters. Perhaps I'm concentrating too much on lower abs and they have developed too much. Is there a good lower ab flattening exercise to incorporate in my workout?
