Be blessed with a mathematical mind like me. finished engineering degree in less than 4 years, tested out of multiple pre-req's and 100 level courses.
Making that cake now son. Don't give up though, even if it takes 8 years, its the difference between a 6 figure future and average wage for the rest of your life.

Just finished my mech E degree. I was never blessed with math skills. It just made me mad that all my teacher's were idiots so I decided to go into an unbiased degree.

Classes are scored on a curve. Working with too many people will screw you in the end, don't want everyone in the class to do well. Always find 1-2 smart people to work with per class.

Engineering is just math. Just do all the suggested problems + actually show up to lecture and recitations. Study hard.

Finance majors make a decent amount as well. I can't do math for ****, but I double major in accounting and finance, so I will probably be able to get a good job and make a good income provided I graduate with a decent gpa and have experence. Accountants only have like a 3-5% unemployment rate and the median pay for them is like $66,000. If worse comes to worse I will just start off being an accountant.

You need to do the homework and past midterm problems by hand so during the exam it'll feel natural to respond to those questions.

Reading solutions is also good but never should be done alone unless you're doing multpie choice exams.
