Homemade Protein Bars too wet. Suggestions?

I've been attempting to make protein bars for some time now and I have finally made them to the point where I am very proud of them (people are now asking me to teach them how to make them). As good as they are, I find them a bit too wet compared to protein bars you buy at the store.

Here is the basic ingredients I use to make the cookies and cream protein bar I made this past week:
    - magnum quattro cookies n cream protein powder
    - rolled oats
    - almond milk
    - quick oats
    - almond butter
    - peanut butter
    - oreos

The process is very simple. First I mix the almond milk with the protein powder, peanut butter and almond butter to get it nice and thick. After that I will throw in my dry ingredients in...the rolled oats and the oreos. I continue to mix it until I feel like it gets to a good consistency and it's not too wet. I find that even if I add more oats to the mix, there will still be a lot of wetness in the protein bars. I put them in the fridge to keep them very solid.

Any suggestions on ingredients to add to these protein bars to make the protein bars drier?

I just attempted my first batch of protein oatmeal bars. They were too wet to get solid.

I think the simple solution is to use less fluid, in your case less almond milk.

This. Or get some bulk psyillum husk to add to the mix to absorb some of the water.

Order some VitaFiber on amazon, or something similar.

Thanks guy. I heard vitafiber is a good option but will take a look at psyillum husk as well and will let you guys know. I will post pictures of what my protein bars currently looks like on my next post. I heard xanthan gum may work as well so I will experience with that too.

So when making protein bars you should put the ingredients in the blender or not? Because I had the feeling it all became more liquid because of blending it.

I'd definitely hand mix. A pure consistency isn't really the order of the day, you're not exactly going to be packaging it for your local supermarket.
