Obviously this guy let work completely take over his world, I used to work 60-70hrs/week and never let it get to the point where I was disregarding my gf at the time completely and not even having sex with her, we slept in the same fukkin bed ffs. Its great that he's recognizing where he messed up because 99% of people seem incapable of doing that today.
But he's still a beta-hipster from everything I read, I dont give a fuk if your wife didnt get enough attention it's still no reason to cheat. For someone to be able to cheat and feel no remorse is deplorable, to be able to do it for a decade when you married the man you were with since 16 and start cheating a year after your son was born puts you in a group of the lowest scum I can imagine with zero moral compass whatsoever.
If I were him instead of making this long drawn out post that could have been cliffed to "Im a cuckhold", he should just be contacting the best attorney money can buy to make sure she doesnt get jack even if there wasnt a prenup. She's been leaching for 26 years with no sign of appreciation, its time for her to get a taste of the real world and introduced to a two bedroom apartment of Section 8 housing.
EDIT: Ill go out on a limb and guess she's also got an extra bank account she set up years ago and has just slowly been taking cash withdrawls from their joint account and putting it in her own for the inevitable day the gravy train stops.

This..
The grass is greener on the other side. If he hasn't gotten this stable job, where would he get the money to travel the world plus write a book?
He married a Sloot. Simple as that.
One thing I do agree with him is on living your life. Enjoy the money you make, responsibly of course.Navy vet brah 02-11

I don't think he's justifying his wife's cheating. I think that's the most minimal message out of the entire story, and it's only used to highlight how much he changed over the years.
He regrets becoming a workaholic, that's the main message. It's a good message for a forum like this, where people only dream of 10k/day CEO and expect that to be instant happiness. Or expect an aesthetic physique to lead to instant happiness. That's not how life works.𝕮𝖍𝖆𝖘𝖊 𝖆 𝖈𝖍𝖊𝖈𝕶, 𝖓𝖊𝖛𝖊𝖗 𝖈𝖍𝖆𝖘𝖊 𝖆 𝖇𝖎𝖙𝖈𝖍

lmao she justified 10 years of cheating by saying he "changed." Should have dropped her right then and there. I feel sorry for the guy, that he blames himself for "changing", and that led to the cheating. Insane how someone can even attempt to justify it. Why not just divorce, why hold on to him? For the wealth, the company? Sounds like she's completely selfish here.

lol @ spending your prime years working 80-100 hours a week.... just fkn lol.
Median salary of an investment banker is 82k/year. At 80hrs a week, that's not worth it, much less 90-100 hours a week. I truly believe that people making that type of career choice are flat out pissing their lives away for nothing. What's the point of earning good money when you're still not even extremely rich, but work so much you can never stop to actually enjoy the money?
