There is simply no other exercise, and certainly no machine, that produces the level of central nervous system activity, improved balance and coordination, skeletal loading and bone density, muscular stimulation and growth, connective tissue stress and strength, psychological demand and toughness, and overall systemic conditioning as the correctly performed full squat.

That is very unfortunate. I do not enjoy working with people like that. Also, ticket system ftw lol.
Does anyone have experience setting up an Application Server for 2012 or 2012 R2? technet.micro****.com is really, REALLY lacking. If any of you could PM me some resources (or just put it here for the gang) I'd really appreciate it. I don't need anything serious.Moved Squat, Bench, and Deadlift to Yoke, Log, and Stones.

I've found that what's listed on a job posting isn't always a requirement if you have other things to bring to the table, like education and skills (not yet used in an enterprise setting) and a winning personality. Take on projects at home and use those to develop skills that you will need in a live environment.

Oh man, that happened to me. Fortunately it was only one laptop, and I kind of did the same thing you did. Went about the set up and legitimately forgot about it. When it was brought up a week or so later, I remembered and it said "It must have happened when I was upgrading the RAM". They asked me to see if I could order a replacement back plate, which I don't think was available, and I never heard anything else about it.
Good luck man. Just be honest, while not vomiting incompetence. If you don't have one, get yourself a pry tool kit as well, because those typically break before the casing on a computer.
Don't sweat it! Accidents happen.Moved Squat, Bench, and Deadlift to Yoke, Log, and Stones.

I'm using MCSA Windows Server 2012 Complete Study Guide: Exams 70-410, 70-411, 70-412, and 70-417
(http://www.amazon.com/Windows-Server...rch_detailpage)
It doesn't cover the R2 stuff but I'm pretty sure you can find it elsewhere without paying for the more expensive text. I'm also using the Windows Server 2012 Pocket Consultant for my Server 2012 class.

What I've found on my own so far from some google searches... Feel free to give me input if these are trash or not. Going to sort thru them now at work and when I get home see if theres anything good in these links.

Going for the MCSA right now.
MCSA Server 12 bootcamp on CBT Nuggets taught by James Conrad.
I bought this book:
http://www.amazon.com/Windows-Server...sa+server+2012
Sybex gets a bad rep for their MCSA book, but its working for me and I passed 70-410 with it. I use it to supplement CBT videos and topics CBT doesn't fully explain. Use the book like an encyclopedia or dictionary, don't read it cover to cover.
I mainly use it for their assessment tests and practice questions.
I then play with a bunch of VMs I have on VMWware, you have to setup a virtual windows lab to fully get grasp of what the fook is going on in the videos and books. You should be following on your lab while you are watching the videos
Look up Eli the Computer guy on youtube on how to setup a basic Windows Lab, then expand on what he made to include a Windows Server 2008 R2 to practice migrating a 2008 server to 2012.
These are the VMs I have running: (add as you see fit)
- Windows Server 2012
- Windows Server 2008
- Windows 7
- Windows 7
I got hired with 8 months of experience as an IT intern. All the places I applied to wanted 2 years of exp, I guess it depends on the type of technology you have worked on and how well you interview.

Hey guys,
Did you guys ever get together in a voice comm to talk IT? I'd still be up to do it if anyone wants to this week.5/29/17 - **The day I decided to take my life seriously and start approaching girls, and learning openers, mid conversation phase shifting, building an emotional and physical connection. So.. I have an interview and 'take home test' with a small company for a web developer position, mostly html/css stuff. The company itself seems to have a good culture, and it would probably be pretty chill with good benefits. But I'm really not a fan of coding at all. I have a bachelors in MIS and I enjoyed most of my classes, except for the programming ones. I dreaded doing the assignments for those classes and I'm worried that I would feel the same about this job. I know I'm being a little bish and there are others who would love this opportunity. Anyone else felt like this when starting a career? I'm trying to go the help desk/sys admin route but after sending out quite a few applications, I haven't heard back. I don't have any certs, but I do have relevant volunteer experience and a degree.
cliffs: Should I choose a job that has an awesome culture but not in the field I would prefer, or risk waiting it out and working towards certs?***Georgia crew***

Does the company have positions that you would be interested in? You can always do that and try to jump on projects with maintaining/servicing the application server and move into system administration. That is a bad idea for the immediate though, especially if you're going to be unsatisfied with your current role.

Didn't get a promotion yet, but I asked for a raise after a year on the job. They offered me $.043/hr and I rebutted about graduating in May, i have my clearance, a bunch of certs (A+, Sec+ etc) and they don't offer to pay for anything (school, certs etc). So I asked for $10 more per hour. They came back and offered 5 more, which is what I was hoping for.
Once all the paperwork is pushed I'll be sitting at $40k/yr at my cushy help desk gig, $5k more than I was making as a cop. I'm making it.
Reps til I'm out boyos.

Sup dudes here's my update,
Filled out all the paper work required for the laptop repair technician. Taking practice tests for the Network +. I saw the price of the exam, $300, nearly screamed like an ape. I feel like I am ready to take the test even though I haven't been studying. I do however need to brush up on the security / IP / protocols and stuff.. I'm still down to have an IT chat on curse client..
Yo,
I was thinking of taking a class at my local community college and this is a class I might take :
Information security principles providing participants the tools for implementing and managing security in the enterprise. Covers a broad review of information security, including the terminology and overview of information security management. After completion of this course students should be prepared to participate in the CompTIA Security+ examination. Prerequisite: Computer and Internetworking Technologies 1124 or Computer and Internetworking Technologies 1635 with grade of C or better or equivalent or consent of instructor (2 lecture hours, 2 lab hours)
I'm studying for Network + right now but Sec + is next on the list. I figured some information that's on the Security + might be on the Network +.
Good idea?Last edited by Hickson517; 04-12-2016 at 10:05 AM.

Finished my first Linux Academy course Linux Essentials, didn't really learn anything new but since I'm still fairly new to Linux I decided to start from the bottom.
Think I'll hop on to RHCSA next, seems quite a bit more complex. So far I can recommend the website.☆☆☆MISC BOXING CREW☆☆☆

Finishing up my degree in Information Science by July, have ~2.5 years doing IT stuff for my Uni's CS dept.
Think it's worth it to try and get a cert? Or should I be ok as-is, been applying for some local entry-level jobs but haven't heard anything back yetlay down and rot

Yeah, or a digital one. Those are quite popular, from my understanding.
Word. Linux Academy is good, and their pricing is reasonable. You can get a discount if you listen to a certain podcast coughLinuxUnpluggedcough.

I work part time (student position) but I've done a lot of imaging (entire labs), networking, physical assembly/repair. Basically anything that ever comes up, and unfortunately they decided awhile ago not to give me admin access (but they would've). Basically is probably the equivalent of a help desk position with some more specificity as far as what comes up.
