You wonder at times, 'holidays' like Memorial Day. Just how do you honor those who have made the ultimate sacrifice over the many years? Sometimes you just don't quite know. Remember I guess. I was playing around online and dropped by Youtube to listen to a 'bolero' or two. An advertisement popped up, as they do. Ha! It was the Wounded Warrior Project. I have seen those on the television and thought; 'I need to give something.' But I never did. My sorry, self-absorbed self! I realized and knew what I could do. You can remember and honor those who lost their lives, but you can also remember those who if it weren't for the grace of God could have lost their lives. If you wonder just what you can do this Memorial Day, find the Wounded Warrior Project website and spread some love and honor around.

Memorial Day is a holiday that regardless of what you do, you just feel it can't compare. It doesn't sufficiently speak for the loss and sacrifice.

Everyday is Memorial Day and Veterans day at the VA, well at least on my floor.

As a Vet I say give them zero money. There are vet right in your home town thatcan use the help. Give them cash, rides to the doc, especially if they have apointments a 100 miles away.
