So this year I am doing this camping challenge in which I will be out there for 10 days straight and we are given 10 small snacks that are roughly 200 calories or less (we will have plenty of water though)..... The goal here is to stretch that food over 10 days camping and just deal with it until the end. Some people bail out and some people stay......
My question is that I have been steadily losing fat for weeks now for the summer. And I know that I obviously will be entering starvation mode when out there due to the amount of food.
I have plenty of muscle and don't mind losing a bit, but my question is, EVEN in starvation mode, and even thiugh DURING starvation mode, muscle is brokn down for energy, is ANYYYY fat broken down for energy at ALL? Because it seems like everyone on this forum says it will break down muscle ok fine BUT will any fat at all Also be utilized/burned?
Have any of you ever been in starvation mode and find that while burning some muscle that you Also lost fat?
