    IIFYM help with cutting. Please help.

    Hi, i'm 23 5'11 and weigh roughly 168lbs. I was just looking into IIFYM and wanted to make sure that my macros were close to right before I started cutting for the next month or so. Just trying to get ready for the beach in Mid June. I workout 4x a week with 2 upper body days and 2 lower body days following all pro's intermediate routine. I also do ab work twice a week and run a couple of miles a week. I attached a picture also. (hopefully it's the right picture). I'm just trying to cut for a few weeks to a month before the beach. I went on the IIFYM site and also read the sticky in the nutrition section and calculated my TDEE to be roughly 2500. If i'm correct. I need to be eating 10-20 percent less calories than my TDEE in order to lose weight so I settled on 2200 calories per day. So that would make my macros be roughly 170g protein 80g fats and 180g carbs each day. Does that sound about right? If not what changes do I need to make to reach my goals? Thanks for the help!

    Well you said your goal was to get beach ready by mid June. Lower your calories by at least another 200 and you should lose around 6 lbs of fat by then. If you use your weight and current bf % (13% im guessing?) you should be slightly under 10% at that time. So you'll definitely have visible abs but you won't be extremely ripped unless you further reduce your calories.

    If you keep your protein >= 1g/lb bodyweight you can probably go with a 20% deficit, so 2000 calories.
