So why the exclusion of some of the ingredients in the product? Betaine is good and all but it's in a ton of products now. The lemon verbena however wasn't widely used asfaik.
Taurine was also a good ingredient in the original.Completed Logs & Reviews:

Yes the formula was tweaked a bit.
Dropped lemon verbena because it was messing with the flavoring system and the color. We have had many people comment on how they do not care about the color or flavor and that it tasted just fine with lemon verbena, but we did have quite a few consumers comment on the taste of each flavor and it being "okay". For those that do enjoy lemon verbena, it will be available in the future.PEScience Representative

I'm sorry but that is just flat out ridiculous and unacceptable statement (from me as someone who has used Amino IV). When you are hiding stuff like freaking leucine in a prop blend of a freaking BCAA/EAA supp, that is just beyond pathetic (and frankly one of the main reasons I'm not buying Amino IV again). Sorry but your supps are not THAT special to warrant this amount of pussy-footing around.

How can I possibly "feel" one way or another when I am completely in the dark about actual content? But when you are putting this much effort into saying how great 10:1:1 ratio is, it would be nice if you at least told us the leucine content. This non-disclosure thing comes more across as hiding behind the prop than protecting your blend. You managed to do non-prop blends with some of your other products. I see no reason to do it with a BCAA/EAA supp these days.

But a prop blend doesn't help them sell their product, and it definitely doesn't help them keep any secrets. There's only two reasons why I see a company would have a prop blend, first of which is under-dosing and the second of which is to add unnecessary ingredients in high doses. I don't support prop blends, unless the company is reputable.

Tbh, the prop blend doesn't bother me, as per typical with most products, the majority of folks will use a full max serving of a product (because you know, we are lifters and the max of anything and everything must be better, amiright?!?). So they obviously intend for you to take the max serving and with that total serving size, you're going to get the 2-3 grams (roughly, if not more) of leucine.
Now, taking the taurine out and the lemon verbana (which is arguably the distinguishing feature of the product IMHO, the lemon verbana that is), that kind of sucks but oh well.Completed Logs & Reviews:
