I just got this email from Mitch Muller of Team Delmonte & Mindset Fitness. Here's your motivational speach for the day :
You know me...
Every once and awhile I like to write to you just because I have things on my mind. And judging from some of the responses, these are the subjects that seem to trouble people the most - which is a main reason why I continue to dive deeper.
I love tackling the big subjects of training and nutrition, but the goal of Mindset is to help you think outside the box and allow you to spill over your success into other areas of your life.
Earlier this morning when I was doing cardio, I had a clarity moment.
This clarity came with a single thought that helped me understand the difference between EXCITEMENT and COMMITMENT.
They are both very powerful in their own regard, however very different at the same time.
Let's use a relationship as an example...
When you first meet, sparks are flying, birds are singing and there's a constant stream of love songs blasting on your car radio from morning till night.
We all know the feeling!
The excitement is fantastic. It's something new.
As you know, that excitement will tend to wear off sooner or later. We as humans become complacent and used-to our partner. It's just normal - as excitement can be defined simply as temporary.
So many people will take a wrong turn when this happens because they make the false assumption that things need to be EXCITING all the time.
Bull. Nothing will be exciting 100% of the time.
The key when this happens is to turn the light switch on for COMMITMENT. This is where your true colors will shine through.
Are you committed towards finishing this thing out or do you let the boredom suffocate you?
Are you willing to stick out the hard times because you're committed to the end result?
I want you to know right now that if you aren't 100% excited for your relationship, your job or even your fitness results, don't sweat it!!!
We all go through this.
The real question is, ARE YOU COMMITTED TO FINISHING WHAT YOU STARTED?
Take some time to meditate on this concept today. You'll find that the most important things in your life may have become boring or lax, but that's NO REASON to stop now.
You owe it to yourself to follow through and DOMINATE!
Just my thought for the day Stay blessed!Sig line can't be a novel
