If there was one word that I could use to describe myself at 17, it would have been professional, also adult.
I usually tip 25%+, but you have converted me. I will now live the no tip lifestyle.
You keep mentioning that you make $2.13 an hour, which is bs, you make at least minimum wage, and probably more. In any case, your minimum wage was definitely more than the $1.54 I made an hour my first year in the military, and i didn't get tips.
One last thing, I finished high school at 15, lol at being 18 and still being in highschool. When it comes your time to die, be not like those whose hearts are filled with the fear of death, so that when their time comes they weep and pray for a little more time to live their lives over again in a different way. Sing your death song and die like a hero going home.

So you are saying you are unprofessional. You don't deserve tips if you actually avoid 'poor families with 10 kids'. Do your job whether you like it or not. no employer outside of hospitality is going to give a chit what your personal feelings on a particular task is... you do it or you get the ass.
also LOL @ thinking being a server is hard. I was a bartender/waiter for 4 years before I started working in banking, it was piss easy and basically a party every shift. Once you clock off, you don't have to give work even a shadow of a thought, work doesn't exist outside of your clocked hours. The same can't be said in the real world. You ain't going to make it brah.

Cooking is infinitely harder and less rewarding, plz stfu if you've never done it. I would love to see some whiney spoiled ******* like OP have to clean fryers and a flat-top grill in between cooking a colossal fukk ton of orders, and have to listen to overpaid servers whine at you while you're slaving away for relative chump change.
I've been a grill cook and a dish washer, and I'd only put some serving jobs above washing dishes, just cuz it's like clockwork after awhile and nobody fukks with you.Sig line can't be a novel

You stupid bish can't believe you made me login to my phone to respond to this dumas thread because you're actually claiming to be paid 2.13 n hour you uneducated piece of chit. But who was labor law? Never tip crew checking in with your skilless job. It's no reason employers get away with this 2.13 n hr bull****. Servers are retards.
You only get 213 if that 213 plus tips accumulates to minimum wage. If your tips plus that 213 doesn't equal minimum wage YOUR EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO MAKE UP THE DIFFERENCE. So you still always make minimum wage. Which is what a server job should pay. Cuz it's skilless. ...... customers shouldn't be paying your wages either. Your employer should. That's why tipping is retarded cuz your employer laughs all the way to the bank paying your retarded ass 213Sig line can't be a novel

I hate servers (srs)
Easiest fuking job on the planet. That's why 16 year olds do it.
Make $10-20/hour and complain.
Feel entitled to 20% tip and threaten to mess with food if not.

I've been known to tip up to 50% of the bill depending on service. I wear basketball shorts and tshirts on purpose when I go in just to see if you judge me. Don't refill my glass when you see it's empty and like said above, your tip starts going down. I bring my 3 kids along too. You're the type of person that people would just walk out on after a meal.
OP You sir are a true *******
