Now the post is up will introduce myself my names Mike English but live in BC Canada.

Down to around 220lb now but on a 5 week road trip vacation in the US including two weeks in Vegas so that why the weigh in is when I get back home.

Exercise, whole body work out at gym every other day one and half hours resistance 40 minutes hard cardio, if my body lets me. Every morning walking the dog at fastest walking pace up mountain and back for 40 minutes total. Will add cardioStill striving to meet my goals even though someone keeps moving the goalposts

I'll join in. My numbers a a bit like yours. In 2009 I was over 300lbs got down to 200 after a year. Last couple years have been stressful with family issues. That caused a lot of lost motivationand bad food & drink decisions. Been in the 230's for a long time and want to get back to 210-220 mark. Last few challenges I've been on I failed very badly. Mostly due to not finishing. Wife & I have been trying to eat and be more active lately. Right now she has better motivation than I do. At least we are trying to do better.
@EmmittSmith22: Circumstances may force you to change your short-term goals. That doesn't mean you can't stay focused on your long-term goals.

In!
Brief Summary:
Heaviest I've weighed myself was 247, that was sometime in 2010-2011. I started counting calories around that time and have bounced between 200-220. Last year I committed to finally getting lean. I got down to 185 last spring, but I let depression get to me after my grandmother fell ill and I ballooned up to 215+. I'm currently back down to 186.6 (as of today) and got as low as 180 over the last few months. I just signed up for a BJJ tournament on July 18th where I'll need to weigh in at 176. I have my work cut out for me, but I know this is doable. I plan to cut into September & then I will start a very slow bulk in October, mainly to hit a few strength goals I have.
I was part of the MDW challenge & was doing well, but a few hiccups and week long slumps threw me off my game. I feel refreshed & ready to roll now! I lift once a week at least, and train BJJ/Muay Thai 2-4 times a week. I'm hoping to fit another day of lifting in now. I take an IIFYM approach to dieting & overall I'm trying to be easier on myself during slip ups.
Ready to crush it with you all!

In as well.
I've never been apart of one of these before by I'll give it a shot.
12/31 I started at 270
3/21 I got down to about 258
5/26 As of today I'm 226.
I'm looking to get to about 180 and reassess from there.
I started to pack on the weight when I was discharged from the Navy back in February of last year and my weight shot up to an all time high of 270. The lowest I've been is about 191 back in high school.
Looking forward to this.

Count me in. I've never participated in one of these either, but this time frame is what I am looking for and any type of motivation is good for me.
I am a 5'8" male, 41 years old and have been at my heaviest 260 lbs. I have been working hard the past few months to get down to around 175 lbs. My starting weight in November 2014 was 231 lbs, I began dieting and added in lifting and light cardio in January 2015. I typically try to get some sort of exercise in every day. I am currently down to 196 lbs. and hope to be at my goal weight by mid September.

Im in on this. I only have a couple pounds that im willing to lose and im probably no higher than 132.0 now but im not going any lower than 123.0 so no race ha. Anyway slow and steady with cutting as my goal. I do weight lifting and cardio also but I have cerebral palsy and some health issues but i do the best I can. Good luck to everyone.
Why do I do this weightlifting thing for the last 34 years with all its ups and downs life has handed me? Because each time I came back stronger. NEVER GIVE UP. Gym life is about more than muscles getting bigger and weights going up. Its wisdom discipline dedication humility you name it.

Count me in as well. I'm trying to prepare myself for the slow bulk to end all slow bulks by cutting so I can see how much I need to bulk. I'm starting at 225 lbs at approximately 17% bf and trying to get to 200 lbs @ single digit bf. I plan on doing a high protein/moderate fat/low carb diet with weekly refeeds and bi weekly/monthly cheat meals. I plan on lifting 4 times a week and swimming/cycling/and running on off days. Let's get 'er done!

In if there's room for one more. I let myself get sidetracked on the last few of these I've signed on for but my motivation has been rekindled lately.
My name is Dan and my current goal is to be 185 lbs or less by the first week of August when I have my next appointment at the cancer clinic.
After getting down to 173 lbs back in April 2014 I let myself get too lax and fell back into some old habits...fast forward to today and I am back up to around 205 lbs. I am back in school at night 4 days/week, plus I work full time, am the president of a community group and have two very active children ages 8 & 4 (well soon to be 4). Saying time is limited is an understatement. My current workouts consist of a barbell complex routine 5 days/week and if mother nature cooperates I hope to begin getting a 50 - 100 km bike ride in on a weekly basis."Success requires no apologies, failure permits no alibis"
Napoleon Hill.
Current Goal: 185 lbs by August 1st, 2019
Current Weight 207.6 lbs.
