Himalaya Livercare - lowering AST levels

I'm pretty sure this stuff is working. I'm having an increase in libido as well. Is one of the ingredients a libido increaser or is it just getting my liver in balance that could be causing an increase in libido?

Are you saying that it is lowering AST (confirmed by blood work) or that you think it is?

I'm assuming. I'm just trying to figure out why my libido has increased an insane amount in 10-14 days. This is the only thing I've changed.

So my thought was maybe its a sign its working, getting liver in balance, which is in turn increasing libido... OR ... is there an ingredient that increases libido in the formula.

There's no real ingredients in that product that would increase libido. It could just be the fact that you're feeling better, which in turn can increase libido, mood, appetite, sleep, etc.

Libido is the only thing I've noticed... it would make sense if mood/appetite/sleep all improved, but all that has stayed the same. *shrugs*

Could just be that spring weather too. Was just trying to make some connection.

I have blood work to show that I have slightly elevated AST... which then I was told by many to give this supp. a shot. I apologize for asking a question about the ingredients. Reps for flame baiting.

Yes, I did. 48 hours before. I got a reading of 46. 2 weeks later I made sure it was the same thing, 48 hours, 40. So within range but still towards the high end. Trying this stuff and going to test again in about 3 weeks from now to see if it goes down or what.

Don't know your medical history, so I can't say much about the state of your liver, but the distribution of AST/ALT levels in the general population don't follow a Gaussian distribution (bell-shaped curve) but rather a positive skew with plenty of people having slightly higher levels beyond the upper limit of the reference range. Also, AST/ALT levels can vary 5-10% throughout the day.

If you have no risk factors for liver disease (and some other medical conditions), I wouldn't bat an eye at those numbers.
