Sucks that Rose is hurt. Hope he is good sooner rather than later. Unless there is a huge choke job. Huge win. McDermott is messing up like crazy down the stretch passing every open shot that gives the Bulls a shot clock violation. Mirotic with a horrible foul there.

That being said. Mirotic has been a beast lately. McDermott needs to start over dunleavy. Dunleavy has been bad this year. Let him come off the bench now.

Went to the game tonight, so it was nice to see a Bulls win. It was fun seeing Niko catch fire in the first. Still don't know if it's even a good thing Bulls have won these last two games lol because I fear they're just painfully dragging us along to collapse at the end and either not make playoffs or get swept. Hoping for the best though, and 7 seed.

bulls went from < 10% chance of playoffs, to >30% after their 2 wins. still think the pacers and pistons have more favorable schedules. but pacers seem to be choking right now, and if niko stays hot shooting, and keeps his inbred play to a minimum, jerry may get lucky and get his playoff $$$$$$$.

They would clearly blame Butler before they blame the coaches or FO. They leak stuff all the time to throw players under the bus.

That being said, IF they were to trade Butler to the Magic. Id want Hezonja, Fournier (sign and trade), and 3 future 1st rounders at least. And even then, the magic win that trade easily.

Supposedly Chicago turned down a trade at the dead line that was Oladipo, a future first rounder and a choice of any one guy on the roster(Most likely Vucevic). For Butler.

To me that's... Wow..

jimmy's not going anywhere. lettuce keep in mind that bulls don't make trades, for one. not that they even should in this case. it's fun to entertain, that's about it. reality is jimmy's a top 3 sg. sure he'd net a nice return. but fred is nothing. unproven. clown as hell. why cater to him? hasn't proven chit. has failed to implement a scheme on either side of the floor that the players trust. wtf is hoiball? right now it's a bottom 10 offense. this same team, one that played w/o rose and jimmy for even longer stretches, posted a top 10 offense last season with a defense to match.

dun worry, bulls will advertise and sell their 2017 plan to the fans shortly. one where rose will walk, taj & dun off books, and they'll suddenly have all this money to sign the big fish of free agency. and claim they're a top 1 destination b/c they've made playoffs 8yrs in a row...smart fans will laugh

I think most bulls fans would disagree with my trade proposal. But my reasoning for if they were to, is to put shooters around Rose and can run because they are young and athletic. I also am and have been high on Hezonja and dude needs to get playing time sooner than later.

But like Griffey said, Butler isnt going anywhere. Not a bulls FO type thing to do

biggest issue is pau imo. HE doesn't fit. rest of team is fast, mostly athletic, mostly versatile. jimmy and derrick are decent off catch & shoot 3's. niko can really do damage when he's fast with the ball and just shoots. doug just needs fred to pat him on the back and give affirmation from time to time to keep his confidence up. jimmy + derrick can work really well. jimmy + derrick + pau can't.

I don't think the Bulls lottery pick is going to be significantly better than the one they'll get if they make playoffs. It's gonna be probably like the 13th or 14th pick if they miss playoffs vs like 17th or 18th if they make it. Not a huge difference. Plus it's not the strongest draft I've heard. Only advantage of the lottery pick would be the small chance they move up like in '07 when we had a 1% chance at the #1 pick and got D.Rose

well that's probably the season. good job, good effort by jimmy. they were missing rose in the 4th. pistons were serving game to the bulls on a platter, but outside of jimmy, no one else was really involved late.
