Back from the kids' last choir concert of the year. They did a really nice job . . . my two kids have a lot of fun in that program. Not a dry eye in the place at the end, though. One of their friends died pretty suddenly/tragically this week and it's been a rough week for the school. At the end of the program they sang their traditional ending . . . an Irish blessing (may the road rise up to meet you). Man, that was heart-wrenching.

I have been dealing with a subscap injury for six months. I have no idea what I did to mess it up but I'm kind of recovering from it, but still trying to take it easy on my shoulders. So I want to go hard on the things I can do. I have pretty much just been doing a Crossfit workout a day for about four or five days a week and then sporadically lifting, doing some traditional bodybuilding stuff that doesn't pinch my scap too bad.

I pulled 405x4 a few weeks ago. I will probably have to start taking supplements again to pull 500.

Been recovering from Achilles Tendinopathy injury to my right leg since August of last year. It's ****ed me royally. Finally am at a point where I can start to ease back into working out my lower body. You don't realize how much your Achilles gets used in simple movements until you have an injury like this. Deadlift is a prime example, when your legs fire, that thing tenses up and sends all hell through your heel. Was stuck in a walking boot for 6 months, 2 of those on crutches, just to try and get it to calm down. Still wondering if I'll ever be able to walk normal again though.

Has anyone used the elcan? The thing that puts me off is that even though its 1x, it still has the same eye relief as the 4x. So its really not a true substitute for a red dot. Which im assuming is the reason you see people piggybacking doctors on them just like the acogs
