    Better Body Sports 30 Day C-bolic Log

    First off, I'd like to thank NC_Tarheel and the Better Body Sports team for giving me a chance to review this product. I'm currently around 14-15% bodyfat and starting my fourth month into my cut for the summer. I was overweight for around 21 years of my life, and started lifting in March of 2014. The last time I got my body composition measured was in 4/06/2015, weighing in at 143.7 lbs with 121.9 LBM, 21.8 lbs of fat, putting me at 15.2% bf. From using this machine, I've been able to come to the surprising conclusion that it certainly IS possible to gain muscle WHILE losing fat simultaneously.

    With that said, I'd like to note that I'll be weighing in every week, however, it must be considered that an insignificant weight loss in lbs would not necessarily mean I haven't been losing fat. I am very much gaining muscle simultaneously, just not at the same attrition rate. So while it may seem as if I'm only losing .2-.5 lbs of fat per week, it's far more likely i'm losing .7 lbs of fat while gaining around .2 lbs of muscle. At the end of this log, I'll post a picture of my final results, both on paper, and of my physique.

    Current dieting plan: I've been tracking my macros for over a year now, and I started my cut at 2900 calories three months ago. one month later, I dropped it to 2700, and last month, I've cut it down to 2400-2600 calories. My current macros are set at 52g fats, 294 carbs, and 176 protein for a combined 2250 calories. I never do cardio, my workout regiment consists of weightlifting only. I'll also be logging my workouts and how my diet for the day went. Although my anticipated caloric budget is 2250, it's likely I may go over significantly a couple times a week. Insofar, this hasn't hindered my fat loss, and with the help of the C-Bolic, I intend on making even more progress. If I feel I am dropping weight too quickly, I may even increase my macros. For proof as to how my diet has been going, every week, I'll be posting a screenshot of the week's nutrition details using myfitnesspal. I log nearly everything that goes into my body, so it should be quite accurate. Let's get this started!

    Since my workouts consist of nearly the same thing every day, I'll go ahead and post my program here. There will be little to no deviation from this program I've created for myself, but I'll be posting how well I performed, any PR's and the duration of my workouts.
    My split consists of a 3 day split: 1. Back, 2. Chest, 3. Arms
    On each of those three days, I'll add in either A. Shoulders, B. Abs, or C. Traps

    I do 4-5 sets of 10 reps on each lift. My back day starts with lat pulldowns, then to close grip cable rows, then wide grip cable rows, then iso row machine, iso pull down machine, then to those standing angled DB single arm rows, then to close grip pulldowns, and then to my secondary workout, then repeat the first sets all over again until my muscles are fatigued. My workouts are at a MINIMUM 2 hours long, but most of the time around 2 1/2 hrs.

    for Chest, I start out with DB presses flat bench, then to face pulls, then to DB incline, then a secondary workout to let my chest recover. I'll then go to barbell, and I recently hit a PR of 225x1 paused rep one inch from the chest with no spotter 2 weeks ago, WHILE on a deficit. Somehow, I've increased stregnth 3 months into my cut. Then I'll do 1 plate barbell incline, secondary workout, and pec decs, and end with some more flat bench barbell and cable flyes. Again, 2 hour workout

    For Arms, I start out with 35 lbs db seated rotation curls, and superset with 65lbs tricep raises. I'll do 3 sets and stretch, then move to preacher curls. i start with 70x10, then 80x10, stretch, then 90x8, then back down to 80, then 70. then I'll go to tricep cable close and wide grip pull downs, then move on to my secondary workout, usually shoulders. Then I do skullcrushers, 40 lbs hammer curls, supersetting with some more tricep overhead raises, but this time, with 60 lbs. then I'll do more secondary workout, and then back to tricep cable push downs. After, I'll do secondary workout again, then move to work forearms.

    Secondary workouts: these are shorter workouts that I use in between my Primary split to give that muscle group some time to recover so I can hit it hard again.
    Shoulders, I do reverse pec decs, cable face pulls, db shoulder press (highest was 75x8, then injured myself) now it's at 65x10. I'll also do lat raises on the machine, shoulder press machine, and that's pretty much it.
    Abs: I only do cable crunches
    Traps: Sometimes barbell shrugs, but usually use the shrug machine, I can top out at 3 platesx8. Remember, I'm only 140 lbs, so that's heavy for me. sometimes, i'll do upright rows using the cable machine with the ez curl extension tool

    Day 1. Weighed in at 140.8 lbs, hit back today for 2 sessions for a combined total of around 3.5 hrs at the gym. Took Cbolic in the morning, and it certainly suppressed my appetite for around 10 hours. It's recommended to take one pill twice daily, but after taking the first one, I felt zero hunger until around dinner time. I had 73 g of fat, 292 carbs, and 157 protein for a combined 2359 calories

    Edit: I forgot to mention, on some days, when I have nothing better to do, I'll hit the gym TWICE. on these days, I allow myself to eat around 2800 calories, and I've never suffered a setback from my cutting goals. Lately, however, I've been unable to do so. Midterms, and a new job is getting in the way of all my free time!

    Day 2: Woke up after a much needed 8 hours of sleep. Today's Sunday, so I have the whole day to myself. Decided to train fasted today, something I rarely do. Woke up at 139.0 flat, took my preworkout, creatine and hit chest today first thing in the morning for around 1 hour and 45 minutes. Didn't have as much energy because I hadn't had any calories for around 10 hrs or so. I normally like to get in AT LEAST 130g carbs, 70 protein, and around 20 fats before my lifts, but I already knew I am going in for a second round in about 9 hrs from now. After the gym, went home and took 40g of protein, 18 carbs, and 3 fats from a shake, then had 2 cups of rice with hamhock and just took cbolic.

    Edit: Just came back from my second gym session, putting me at a total gym time of around 4 hours. Had around 2500 calories today.

    Day 3

    Woke up at 138.8, went to work at 0830 and now I'm in class. Had 3 protein shakes, a protein bar, chicken and rice, and took my cbolic just now. Going to hit the gym tonight at around 5. It's arms/shoulder day so it'll be a short workout, between 1 1/2 to 2 hrs. Will update with my total calories for the day

    Current anticipated macros: 52 fat, 294 carbs, and 176 protein. I follow my own program that I've created throughout the course of a year. For details, check above post. I do a 3 day split consisting of back/chest/arms. Rest day once every 2-3 weeks. I only take a rest day when I have literally no time for the gym. I work from 5-12, class from 1-6, gym from 7-9, and sleep 10-4.

    Day 4

    Got 4hrs of sleep, having to wake up at 430 for work today. I'm tired as hell, and I have class until 5 today. Should go home and do some hw and sleep, but whenever I tell myself I'm going to take a rest day, I end up going to the gym right after my classes anyway. We'll see what happens. Took my cbolic while at work, and will take my second dose within the next hour. If i go to the gym today, it will be back day, which I'll make it light because without proper sleep, I probably won't be able to hit it hard anyway.

    Edit: so I went straight to sleep for a few hrs after school, then hit the gym with no preworkout for about an hour and a half, then went back to bed. Ended up way overeating with 2700 calories.

    Went to work and now I'm in class. Woke up at 139.8 today, but not feeling fat. So far I had a chicken and rice bowl, 2 protein shakes, and a 330 calorie protein bar. Took my cbolic and I'll be hitting chest today, in about 3 hours. Bout to go hard af today!

    my thighs don't look as impressive because they aren't as tanned as the rest of my body, so you won't see much definition

    Didn't have a chance to post yesterday's log, so I'll do that now along with today's.

    Day 6

    Woke up early for work, took the cbolic after two shakes in the morning. Had lunch, and finished up some assignments. Hit the gym at around 3 to do arms/shoulders. I woke up at 139.0, which surprised me since I had like 2700 calories just the other day. Today's final caloric intake is 2,422 calories, and I also had a couple beers with my gym buddy. I know, beer is bad, but I only drink once in a while, and was in that kinda mood.

    Day 7

    surprisingly, i LOST weight lol. woke up just now and I'm at 138.8. Usually, when I drink, I'll gain a pound or so in water weight, but that didn't happen which is pretty cool. Going eat a huge meal and a couple shakes before the gym. It's back day, and I feel fresh from a full night of sleep, so I anticipate hitting it hard today

    edit: just came back from first round at the gym. Was there for 3 hours and 20 minutes. Hit back and traps today. Think I might go back in a few hours to finish off with some abs and some more back.

    Day 8

    Woke up to 139.0, and hit the gym for chest. Didn't perform as well, and I realized it was because my shoulders were aching. I think this is because I did shoulders yesterday with my back workout. Was still there for 2 hours today, and MIGHT go back to do some more incline/flat barbell before bed. Seeing definition in my abs after my ab workout last night! Woke up 13 hours ago and only at 1575 calories insofar. Took my cbolic in the morning, and again after the gym. I always take the cbolic after my first large meal, and after my second meal. Still have 685 calories to hit tonight, with 22 fats, 98 carbs, and 42 protein. I'll probably end up just hitting my carb/protein macros, and not use up my fats to help aid the fat loss. After all, any fat loss supplement should be used in conjunction with a proper calorie deficit, and maybe even maintenance.

    I've noticed my strength is still increasing while on this cut. Was able to hit 185 for 6 without a spotter @ 139-140 lbs. 2 weeks ago, I was only able to do 185x5. I should probably take a rest day some time

    Day 9: woke up to 138.2! That's really low, and today's arms/shoulders day.
    I took 40g of protein and hit the gym and ran some errands, and I'm ready to finish off the rest of my workout before bed. Took cbolic after my lunch, and still have plenty of energy.

    edit: had 2311 calories today, total gym time 2 hours and 30 minutes

    I think it's too early to draw any definitive conclusions. Fat loss, as I understand it, does not operate in a linear fashion. Insofar, however, I have noticed deeper cuts in my striations in my shoulders/arms. Details that wouldn't be picked up in a picture, but I'll be sure to include my body composition at the end of this log. it is highly detailed, and will show the time/date that I took it. The best part about that is it'll show how much muscle I've gained, in terms of lbs, and how much fat I've lost as well.

    Day 10

    Woke up feeling starving for some reason. Had 170 cals worth of peanut butter and 120 cals from bread and went to work. At work, I had 40g of protein.
    Just had my first big meal and cbolic after work. Going to hit back in about 30 minutes and it's off to school.

    Edit: only had an hour and a half of gym time. had 2,222 calories today, and took my second cbolic dose. Now it's bed time so I can get 8 hrs before work tomorrow.

    Day 11

    Went to work in the morning, then had my lunch and took cbolic. headed to the gym for a short 1 1/2 hour chest session. My shoulders are feeling weak, but I'm sure I'll be stronger in about 7 hours when I go back to hit it again, but this time, with my gym buddy. The day I hit 225 for the first time, it was my second chest workout of the day. I don't know how, but I have more endurance/strength at my second workout. Currently I'm getting a realignment, and they got wifi here, so yay.

    Day 12
    I binged to over 2900 calories last night, just couldn't help it. Woke up this morning at 139.2
    after work, I binge ate around 1000 calories. Taking my cbolic now, and hoping i dont eat too much post workout!

    Edit: Just got back from the gym, and had a much needed stress-relieving session. Hit back and abs for 2 hours and 20 minutes. I've also just taken a picture. I apologize for not getting this up sooner, as my schedule had gotten quite busy. Final macro count for the day is 29 fats, 178 carbs, and 135 protein. I only had 2 cans of tuna and 50 cals worth of watermelon for post workout, as I'm not feeling hungry. I'm going to bed soon, so my final calories for the day is 1562. I realize that's lower than it should be, but it's only one day, so that won't kill me, just as how only one day of binge eating won't do much damage.

    I've also decided to change things up, and do the unthinkable, by lowering my protein intake. Currently, I'm shooting for 170g, but I've noticed that I have this tendency to overconsume in calories, and protein. I do this to myself by taking 4-5 scoops of whey a day(lol, that rhymes!), and each scoop is 140 cals. That means I'm taking in 560-700 calories just from my protein shakes! If I can cut down by about 2 scoops, I'd be saving myself 280 calories per day. Also, it should be noted that I haven't dropped weight in about 2 weeks. I know how my body works, and I'll hit a WEIGHT loss plateau every 2-3 weeks, which lasts for about 1-2 weeks. After that, I start dropping weight again. I'm certain I've still been losing fat, just not as much, and I'm even more certain that not only am I maintaining my muscle, but GAINING in the process. This will all be revealed after the 30 days of taking this product, as I'll share photos of the body composition results.

    I realize I've taken this photo 12 days into the use of cbolic, but I think that the picture of the final results will prove justice to the efficacy of the product.

    Day 13
    Decided to do arms today because I did back the day before, so I had to switch up those days on my workout split. I'm noticing my libido is through the roof, to an extent I've never felt before. Also becoming irate much quicker than usual. Possibly due to stress from finals/work situations, but still making damn good progress in the gym.

    Day 14
    Ate after work and only had two scoops of protein and a 700 calorie lunch followed by cbolic. Going to have a huge dinner. I think I've been eating more because of said stress, but today, I was able to put up 85's again doing chest press, something I haven't done for 2 months, since I've been focusing more on bench. Hit chest for a short 1 1/2 hour workout because I wasn't feeling too well, but going to relax and hit it again in about 6 hours from now

    Day 15

    Spent my saturday at work, went to In n Out with coworkers for lunch, and spent 3 hours in the gym doing arms. Feeling great in the gym, although a bit sore since I hit arms two days ago. Did shoulders and a little bit of abs as well. About to go to bed, as I spent the last three hours replacing belts on my car. Nissan engineers decided to put 2 drive belts on my car instead of a Serpentine like normal cars, and this is a set up I've never worked with so it took me awhile to get it, but finally got through it
