We've often discussed how if Ronnie hadn't been born, Jay would potentially be a 9 time Mr Olympia.
Likewise, if Dorian Yates hadn't been born, Flex Wheeler would have a Sandow, and Shawn Ray and Kevin Levrone would have two apiece.
If neither Dorian or Ronnie, or Jay had been born, we might easily be saying "Mr Olympias are won by huge arms", since most of the relevent Mr Olympias (Flex, Levrone, Victor, Dexter, Phil) have arms as a standout feature.
If Arnold hadn't gone into movies, he might be a 13-14 time Mr Olympia.
What are some interesting hypotheticals you can come up with?

Bodybuilding "what ifs"
We're dodging more ninjitsu attacks than Flex Wheeler. We're ducking more bullets than George Farah. We're facing more death than a kid leg pressing at Branch Warren's gym.
You can't stop us. You can't hold us back.

What if Levrone actually made a legit comeback when he first talked about it back in 2008...could he have actually beaten an "off" Jay Cutler that year and edged out Dex (who he had beaten a number of times throughout his career) for a Sandow? He would have been 41.

What if Victor never hurt his leg ?
What if Branch never tore his lat ?
What if Federov never tore his pec ?
And far greater than all of those......what if Levrone never hurt his (back ?) or whatever happened to him thatkept him from squatting because when he was young, legs were one of his strengths !

What if Lou stayed in bodybuilding and not do the Hulk, would he have been Mr. Olympia from 1976-1979?

Man you are taking the piss with that statement. Phil without a doubt in the latter years. Victor has great arms but so was the rest of his body in 2007.
Dont generalise all these great champions by belitteling their physiques, Wich are better than anything Jay ever brought to the stage IMO.www.hopeforpaws.org

....if Lee Haney had the "Never Say Die" attitude and competed until his body just gave out. Remember, he retired at 32 after his 8th Mr O. (actually 31, his birthday was in Nov.) By today's standards, you are just hitting your peak years at that age. I think he would of won again in '92, but '93 would have been something to see. Yates made huge gains from 92 to 93 and would really have put the pressure on Haney. Haney was old school and kept his weight in check even in off season. Yates years are credited with ringing in the Mass Monster era. Would Haney have changed his philosophy and sacrificed symmetry for size after '93? Hmmm.

What if Joe Weider had never started the IFBB.
I wonder if bodybuilding would be in a better or worse state now.
I'm tempted to say worse but there's no telling who would've taken up the mantel of "Father of modern Bodybuilding" or what direction they might have taken it.I Discovered A Meal Between Breakfast And Brunch
