4 years ago I was making 13.00 an hour.
I've hopped a few jobs since then, and also developed some substantial side-income, bringing me to my current state.

Currently 28

Full time day job I work in technology as a Tech Proj Manager.

I recently got into the role less than a year ago so I have a lot of growing to do professionally.

It's been relatively big increase between jobs. The higher I go up in my career , the smaller the jump is though.

Details below. Every event represents a time I left a job, unless otherwise indicated.

Jump 1:35%
Jump 2: 40 %, I didn't leave a job for this one. I just threatened to leave for a better opportunity , so my current employer marched.
Jump 3:40%
Jump 4: 13%
Jump 5: 8% , I got this as a merit bump at current job, and didnt leave the job for the bump.

What do you feel like you did differently to get there so much faster ?

I find that a lot of the more experienced people I work with are typically not as flexible , and to an extent , lazy. That is what I have been able to capitalize on so far.

I said I make 100k+. Wanted to keep it ambiguous, but certainly make much more than 100k. At the end of the day, there will always be people who make hundreds of thousands of dollars more than if nonetheless.

Eh honestly, once you've been working for a while its a good idea to take positions that are higher than where you are currently at. That way you end up ahead of everyone else at your peer level consistently.
