Cant Shoulder Press due to tricep injury.. (Help)

I seen a Sports & Orthopaedic Physician last week about a lingering tricep injury ive had for about 6 years. long story short, i had an ultrasound scan but what surprised me is that the results were good. no signs of tendonitis / tendonosis, no scar tissue, no calcification, no trapped nerves.. that being said, i cant do 1 set of press ups before my left arm gives in. its pumped up and burned out before my right arm can even get warmed up properly.

While ill have to look into other treatment or get a second opinion, could someone please recommend a routine for shoulders so i can try to add at least some mass while i work out what to do next.

can you even get half decent shoulders without any pressing at all??

    Thanks in advance.

It is hard to advise someone on what to do when you don't have a diagnosis.
My question would what about nerve entrapment like cubital tunnel syndrome? If you are giving out that seems more like a nerve issue. I've had the condition and I nearly dropped 165lbs on my chest one day before I figured out it was a nerve issue in my tricep and not tendonitis like I thought.
I still have pain but with proper treatment and modifications it is much better. I do have to watch the heavy tricep exercises though, probably forever.

Stay away from anything that causes pain or irritation. Maybe try to avoid overhead shoulder work and experiment with upright rows and lateral raises.
I like personal responsibility and accountability. When you admit you are the problem you are simultaneously admitting you are the solution.

Thanks for the reply. there were no signs of nerve entrapment either. the scan came out squeaky clean so i have no idea where to go from here other than to train around it.
