Personal Attacks Should be bannable in the R/P

So many good/beneficial discussions are derailed and turn into childish name calling because a lot of unintelligent people can't discuss in a civil manner so they choose to personally attack the person, or troll with irrelevant gifs or pics, I admit im an offender but i do it moderately, but some peoples posts are usually just name calling and defaming .. This kind of behavior should be bannable in this section. This rule should increase the quality of the R/P.

As for Dave, he did not consider it "threatening" when I pointed out the DISCONNECT between him being a law enforcement officer and the documented racist, anti-Black commentary he partakes in. How is that threatening? That is taking someone's words and having them rationalize. I have no intention and have never had any intention beyond making HIM see the disconnect.

While Dave is a great guy, he is not exactly Einstein so I am not sure I could ever make him see something as complex as cognitive dissonance even when so obviously visible. Even so you really need to move on from your unwarranted thin-skin induced obsession with trying to censor people who simply disagree with you politically.

That you come here and try to lecture someone else on freedom of speech is more than a little ironic.
