Best Pre workout and protien powder?

Of the ones you mentioned, ON is solid for quality, but doesn't taste very good. Truetien tastes good but qc and customer service are questionable and no idea about formula. Are you willing to try other proteins? If so, PES select and SAN are pretty much always in my cupboard. Bluestar, Iforce and animal are on my to try list. Do some searching in here and you'll find other high quality good tasting ones that aren't coming to me right now.

As far as pres go ANS ritual is still my favorite for good kick and focus (yet to try ppk and katana). Will need to know more of what you're looking for in that regard to help. Do you want energy, focus, or pumps?

Talking results... PWO: Neurocore by MT (puts me in the "zone"), BSN's Hyper-Fx or ProSupps Hyde (respect it's potency). Protein Powder: SES's Prime and Nutrex's Muscle Infusion. Have to mention MT's Phase 8 and Cellucor's Cor-Whey for taste. All flavors in both lines are absolutely AMAZING!!!

There is no "best" per se...certainly some are better than others, but you'll need to try a few products to see what you to respond to and what you like the most. For protein, the brands you mentioned are good. I'd also check out PES. As for Pres...there are a ton on the market right now offering all types of benefits. There have been some great suggestions in this thread and I would take the time to look into each one and see what interests you. Out of those, I would go with Formula. For a preworkout, Anarchy shines as far as energy, pump, and focus goes. It also tastes really good.

I like ON from that list OP. Flavor wise, there are better options out there, but the profile is pretty solid and ON has been around for quite some time. Extreme Milk Chocolate is currently my favorite flavor that they offer.

There's no definitive best. Try a bunch and figure out which one(s) you like best. For example, you can give our Max-HP a shot for your preworkout needs

ON is a solid company, and they make a quality protein.

As for pre-workouts, what is your stim tolerance? I enjoy Max Out and Scream, but both have 300mg of caffeine per serving which may be high for some people. Vortex is also a good choice at 200mg caffeine per serving (I just used Vortex this morning with some added BCAAs and LCLT).

Trutein has a lot of very good tasting flavors my favorites being Pumpkin Pie & Lemon Meringue Pie very smooth texture mixes up real nice

So I had purched the ON protein and JYM pre workout last night. I am kind of nervous about the JYM now though..It got such fantastic reviews on this website but no love in this thread.

I'm not really sure my tolerance level. I currently have something called HD alphcare and it does absolutely nothing for me.

I am curious what else, if anything, I need? Like do I need creatine even if it's already in the ON powder? My forumula powder came with ignition...is the ignition thing really needed?

I mostly just want to put on some muscle

Cellucor Cinnamon Swirl is the only protein I can drink without gagging. Red Velvet is good too, although a little rich for me. Every other protein I've had tastes like ****. Pre Workout is C4. Also I take Synedrex in the morning before a fasted run. Ruins appetite though, and it's hard for me to eat the rest of the day.
