Hey!
I'm a skinny person and a work out beginner. Some people tell me I should take weight gainer to build a body, others advise me to use Creatine so I can lift heavy weights. I'm confused and I don't have any experience. What should I do ?
Sorry if its wrong section.

This is the best advice "GO MAD" Diet.
Gallon Of Milk A Day!
Whole Milk - spread through out the day as best you can. If you wake up to go to the bathroom at night, drink a glass of milk.
It is a goal, you may fall short some days, but give it your best.
You can include your protein powder into some of the milk. You won't need protein in every serving.▪█─────█▪ Equipment Crew #39 ▪█─────█▪

Read the line below, eat, drink milk, lift.
You need a good rack, a bench, and a 300-lb Olympic weight set. Now, what was your question?

skip the weight gainer shakes - just use protein powder and milk. The best description of the weight gainer shakes I have heard is that it's protein and instant cake mix combined. Aka - most of the calories are from sugar

I understand what you are saying, but this depends on body type. If he is 20 years old and truly skinny, he likely has a metabolism that will require him to eat in a manner that most would call overeating. At 20 years old, I could have actually benefited from the Cake Mix weight gainers. Unfortunately, they weren't in my budget at the time.

Dumbbell hit the nail on the head. When I was 20 I could handle anything calorie wise. It would have been in my benefit between the ages of 14 and 21 to eat everything I could get my hands on. Of course everyone's metabolism is different so he should approach with caution.

i was pretty pudgy as a kid, but the only thing i wish i had done when i was 20 is get on a good program and not be a pussy about squats and deadlifts. i was lucky and got a good trainer who was an accomplished powerlifter, at a commercial gym! but i was too much of a pussy to do his originally prescribed workout. (3x/week, full body, squats and deadlifts) and so he put me on something more tame and i only blame myself for my lack of gains.
i'm more of a fried rice kinda guy. extra egg.Domicron's Basement Gym and Fun House

BTW - I still use the GO MAD diet during the winter months. My favorite is to GO MAD CHOCOLATE.
Fairlife doesn't sell Whole Chocolate, but this 2% works pretty good.

Sams Club did have the 2pack last time I checked.▪█─────█▪ Equipment Crew #39 ▪█─────█▪

I agree and come from the same background, 6'4" 175 back in the day. Just want to warn him not to think it will happen overnight or to push it too hard. I'm not a fan of Gomad, I think there are much better ways to get your calories than that.
Also most skinny kids are hardly eating anything and they don't realize it.
