    Need some help gaining mass

Hey guys, I'm 18 years old, I weigh 172 lbs, 12% body fat, about 6 feet tall, and I've been told I am really strong for my size. I am definitely your classic hardgainer and have had trouble gaining weight all my life. I'll be playing college football this coming fall and really need to put on some mass. I've tried several supplements throughout my life and really the only thing I've found effective is creatine. I struggle to eat a lot and I'm always trying to eat more but I just can't seem to get bigger fast. I'm looking for something that will help put on weight and trust me I've tried weight gainers, appetite stimulators all that crap. I've heard non hormonal supplements are very effective but I don't know too much. I'm really just looking for something that will assist me in putting on weight.

Supplements don't add mass. Food adds mass. You may think you're eating a lot, but if you're not gaining your not consistently eating enough. It's as simple as that.
Supplement a good diet: don't diet on supplements.

Calorie dense foods or home made mass gainers. It seems like the overarching issue is an inability to eat the calories required to gain mass - that's the issue you need to work on.

First you need to work on eating more consistently, this is where your problem is. 95% of all mass gains or weight loss is going to come from diet/training.

Obviously eating more is the answer if you want to gain weight but if you think you already eat enough, and can not eat more than what you are eating already. Try to include some liquid calories into your diet, these are easy to consume and 1 tablespoon of for example olive oil is nearly 120-130 calories and actually having 1 tbspoon of olive oil a day is really good for your body too.

If you want to gain weight you'll need to increase your daily food intake. Start eating some calorie dense foods, and eat more often throughout the day
