The new generation of Americans who are too intellectually mature to believe in "fairytales" more than likely have never actually read the Bible. They make up their minds from watching some Richard Dawkins interview and can't fathom that there is more to life than science. They only listen to arguments from unbelievers and never actually read The Word, the sacred book which has stood the test of time.
Be honest Atheists, have you actually read the Bible and if so, do you actually understand it?

They will all realize how life can turn around in an instant, and how you are not alone on this material plane of life. There is other part of life that you need to live through to see real manifestations of life.
They think "believing" is just saying "oh ok he exists praise the lord", its living through it, its talking with that spirit and then crying in overwhelmed emotion, those are the close relationship on spiritual level that GO to this material life and attracts positive energy, good loving energy that affects EVERYTHING, every single thing in your life. This mindset got me through a lot of things, and I genuinely believe it, its like an insight for me.
Really, before I was strong Richard Dawkins fan, with all that "Religion KILLED MORE THAN ANYTHING!!!" ideology...and guess what? I fapped, I was porn addict, pot smoker, no physical excercising, weakling, and pure HATE in heart, just hate. (100% serious, Im not BS to prove my point)
Then, I got on No Fap, cleaned my addictions...and saw and REALIZED how powerful the forces of nature can work on you and that you dont need to "believe" in anything, its there, inside you, guiding you and giving you thoughts to produce it in POSITIVE emotion which governs your fears and actions.
Love you brother
You dont always need to use rational thought in life. Thats how you help people and empower them and AWAKEN them, with good energy that hits their heart and then sets good things in motion for future. No matter what, there will always be opposites to your views and they will bash you. yet good heart is always victorious and people like that pass that torch of fire to other generations.Last edited by Cassack; 04-25-2015 at 08:07 AM.

Agnostic atheist reporting in (show me).
Implying that someone hasn't read it or didn't understand it is a fukwit statement, I'd go out on a limb and say I understood it better than 99% of American Christians do just because I don't take bullchit at face value.
I know this is a troll thread (nice join date homo) but honestly, you *******s need to understand that your typical American Christian is a crackpot when compared with Christians from all the rest of the world... the Pope himself has come out and said that 90% of the Bible isn't meant to be taken literally and that people need to use common sense.
So much this^
Op's comment says a lot about human nature unintentionally, how many Christians in the US would be willing to pick up a Qur'an or the Torah and read it ?**#3 always delivers crew**
**regularly rep accidentally instead of negging back crew**

Do you not find it mind blowing that people all over Europe dropped their Pagan Gods straight away when they were introduced to Christianity? That maybe back in the day they had more proof that it actually happened?
Think about it, millions & millions of people converted under free will and gave up their false gods that they had worshipped for generations...

2 Timothy 3:1-4 But realize this, that in the last days difficult times will come. For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, revilers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy, unloving, irreconcilable, malicious gossips, without self-control, brutal, haters of good, treacherous, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God.

I would consider myself an agnostic.
I have read excerpts from the bible, and know a decent amount of the content. But even having read those excerpts, I have found nothing that makes me believe. What I have found it to be, is simply a book that provides moralistic guidelines.
In a world where almost everything can be explained via science (and anything that can't is being actively researched), it's almost hard to believe that a supreme sentient being exists.

Which book are we talking, OP?
The problem with "the bible" is that it is transcribed from old scrolls and many different languages into English.
So, even if you "read" the book (new testament, old - gospels of Mary - whatever) how can you be sure you are even reading what was intended and not what some idiot failed to transcribed or what some conniver felt you should read as the word of god?
