never been for a muscle pull.
don't think I ever will either.
it's a temporary injury.
I'll just take it easy outside sunday and not try to do so much in one day.
today i got a date coming over for some grilled chicken with chili-lime rub & grilled broccoli marinated in lemon, olive oil & grated parm.
so i'm inside cleaning.
I'm going to be splitting wood monday after work.
then resume lifting on wed.
i'll make sure to cardio every day this week to make up my lack of progress this week.

Plus I needed to buy a weed whacker.
didn't get to lifting until almost 10 last night & no pre-workout cause it was so late.

10pm workout?!! I'm a night owl, but even that's a little late for me to work out. Would be buzzed all night, I think!
Guess what popped up on my phone calendar today ..... Get Ready for Garage Sale! I have soooooo much junk to get rid of. I'm trying really hard to purge and donate stuff this year, and I've been doing a good job of it. Not much of a pack rat but I do have some good garage sale material. The street I live on has a big one once a year in June, so I'll participate this year. I'm always amazed at what people buy and what gets left behind....... or what people want to pay for stuff ......"hey would you take a quarter for this couch?!!!!" Um, how about 50 cents? But they're willing to pay $3.50 for a half burnt candle
Good luck spending your entire weekend haggling with people who show up at your door 2 hours before your sale opens
Oh, and thanks for the wood. You're a palCaring about what people think of you is useless. Most people don't even know what they think of themselves.

If I didn't do it last night I KNOW I wont lift until monday.
too much stuff to do this weekend plus Yardio.
I got mostly stuff from when my kids were real young.
So baby swing, high chair, some play sets.
lots of toys.
they are 6 & 8 now so it isn't all that old & in good condition.
stuck it in the basement (negative zone)and forgot about it. Was going to just donate it but if I can get a few bucks why not?
Then I don't have to try & keep the donation receipts safe for a whole year.
$25 for the big baby stuff & $5 for the battery operated toys that will come with the cheapest bulk purchase batteries you can get just to show they work.
on sunday morning I drop the big stuff to $15 if it's still there & the toys to $3.
halfway through I slash prices all the way down to free so I don't have to take it back home.
Sorry about letting all your pets out of the yard.
I'm sure they will come back on their own and there was little bit of pine & poplar mixed in with the willow wood
so you might want to clean that chimney every other week.
just in case.

Thursday dug a few post holes by hand then split some firewood.
friday i actually rested and went to bed early then yesterday I was up early for 18 holes of golf.
got a 120 which means I swung a lot. LOL!
this morning it hurts to take the milk out of the fridge.

same this week.
I don't know when i'll be able to lift but i'm outside doing manual labor almost every day.
i was down to 207 for a day then i drank some beer & had some burgers.
i'm back up to 212.
but my waist & arse have shrunken enough where my current 38's are too big but my 36's are too small & people are asking me if i've lost weight.

No cows.
Sheep Shearing....well it's summer & I am Sicilian.
does that count?
So, I dropped about 6 lbs total.
lost 2.5 inches off my bellah & 1.5 inches off me backside.
Not quite into the next smaller sized jeans yet but my current ones are getting hard to wear.
tightening the belt more doesn't keep them from drooping unless I go full on Urkle & pull them over the luv handles.
Because my backside shrank the cuffs hang lower & if I wear lower soled shoes i'll step on them.
My lifting petered off as my out door manual labor picked up.
Normally May around here is cold & rainy & this yr we literally went from snow one week to 70's the next.
I just couldn't NOT take advantage of it & my body couldn't handle lifting along with all the work I was doing.
but damn I could go full bore for an hr or so feeding 50lb + chunks of wood into a log splitter on two scoops of Pump Extreme.
It tasted awesome & mixed easily.
I'm grateful for the chance to try the new product.
