I basically decided to stop trying to meet girls, I got 3 different girls numbers at the start of this semester right off the bat, but girls drop out of classes or they pretend they like you, and all that energy you put in for just a girl.... doesn't seem worth. Even the numbers game, people say 9/10 might reject you but there is still that one! Dude, you walked up to 10 chicks don't you think that your spending too much time just to get one woman that likes you?

She isn't being "honest," unless you think that telling someone "I'm not looking for ____, I'm actually looking for ____" is honest. This isn't honesty, this is avoiding the obvious female to male interaction truth. Let's be real for a moment. We all know girls, we all know how they are and how they act. And we all know when a broad is 1. interested, or 2. not interested. In this case, this broad set OP to the side by indirectly telling him she is not interested. More than likely it was physical. Why? Because if a woman is TRULY seeking for "something more," and she is interested in a man, she will initiate this sequence, and she will make it obvious that she wants to do things right with the guy and push for that direction. She friendzoned you because she isn't interested in you, but she said it in the typical slut way. Guaranteed if you were some 10/10 male the way the misc praises men, she would've texted YOU first, told you how much fun SHE had, and how she REALLY wants to do it again. She would've also left out the friend part.

Stop overthinking. Don't say shyt, if she sees you again - which she will - and if she mentions anything about her text, your text, just say you got busy and you forgot to respond to her text. That's it. If she says anything else, like what her text consisted of, just be like "lol okay that's cool," and disregard. Don't show her you're affected, or that you care. That may either work in your favor, or not. Either way, you're disregarding her and moving on.

I went through this too, for a long time. It was excruciating. Until I found one who texted me 20 minutes after our first date saying how much fun she had and she couldn't wait to see me again. That was a couple years ago and our wedding is in October. She's the best girl I've ever met and I'm so glad the girls I tried dating before her did not work out. I may have never even gone on that first date with her if I had stopped looking after finding out one of the others was interested.
